I have unsubbed. Not waiting for Dec 10

Good. I hate alliance so much i wish theyd all quit

I signed up for pvp.
What i didn’t sign up for was a game where half the server is out wanting to pvp (which is awesome), and the other half of the server is emoting in ironforge.

You were right to unsub. A game should never be a horrible experience. Unless of course you like horrible experiences, but if you did you wouldn’t have made this post telling me you unsub’d.

Two words: PvE Server

If that’s what they want, I still haven’t finished leveling my FFXIV paladin to 80, and I could go play ESO and work on my Templar. BFA is not where I’d be going if I were to leave. So go ahead, Blizz. Drive me away.

I look at it this way, some people made a legit mistake going PvP or not researching the server first. Blizzard let so many people on these servers that it’s causing problems.

Now let’s say these people had rolled PvE, horde would be here crying how they cannot PvP because there’s no alliance and the unbalance is killing the game. They’d be threatening to quit because their PvP servers are glorified PvE servers.

So let’s not pretend the real issue isn’t the server imbalance and over population. Faction ques and faction locks would have fixed the issue.

If you wanted to PvP but not be subject to griefind and camping, then you should have rolled on a PvE server, where by the way, you can still PvP all you want, it’s just that it’s optional.

This has always been the issue - people mistakely rolling “PvP server” because the game doesn’t really explain that both server types include the option to PvP.

The server types are really mislabeled. They should just call them something that more accurately reflects the game rules on each server. Like “PvP optional” and “PvP always on”.

Reroll on a pve server with friends, and have fun.

Is PVP happening on a PVP server again? Plz fix Blizz

Its actually incredible how hard you’ve worked here to miss the point entirely.

Ok cool. I’ll go drop a deuce

I haven’t stepped foot into Classic (nothing against it). However, in retail, I get annoyed getting ganked at all. I can’t imagine being ganked to the point that one cannot play. And honestly, anyone who supports this kind of gameplay is not being considerate of other players’ experiences and is likely in on the ganking.

Blizzard, help these people! C’mon. :unamused:

Why don’t you just take a break until December 10th instead of crying about it? A lot of the gankers will be busy in WSG and AV.

How are BGs going to solve this problem?

I unsubbed this account. I will keep playing my horde character though… since they were both on the same realm (my irl friends were split between the two factions lol).

BGs are not going to help at all. Horde will still severely outnumber alliance on most servers. You think they are going to suddenly stop ganking people because bgs are out? lmao.

You do realize casual players do make up a rather large portion of the players playing overall and with the casuals leaving it will only raise the prices of mats(as fewer overall players farming and the hard core ones are looking more to capitalize on their efforts) AND will only make it harder to get that rank 14 as the amount of players who can get it are a % of the overall population. So in short, fool, you want them to play even if they’re super casual.

Imagine taking longer than a month to hit 60

Hindsighted statement. You should have seen all of the foresighted statements made months ago.

but if they lose even 10% of their subs over this the corporate side is going to pull the plug on this experiment. They may leave it up but that could mean servers get ripped apart and jammed into each other to make all the players fit on a smaller stable of hardware and we get half assed phase continuation because most the staff get pulled. If you don’t care about that being a risk fine, but I would like this to continue for a few years at least personally, and it was all going well up until the last 2 weeks from what I can tell.

I had way too much real life stuff pop up to give the game fair attention and was splitting what time I had among 3 characters, just taking my time and enjoying the game. If I had realized this was going to happen I would have focused on one, but that wouldn’t have changed the birthdate of my second born, changed the sudden chance to get and move into a newer and nicer home, or that I had other stuff going on. And frankly as much as I love the game it didn’t even cross my mind to ignore any of that real stuff. Now that I have time to play, if the game is broken for me due to what I have been reading this week then either I take my efforts to PvE for a while and wait or just save the monthly sub. I dont really want to do either but I dont have hours free to spend getting camped every day at my age, im not a teen anymore and gaming is a secondary concern in my life in a good week.
