I have unsubbed. Not waiting for Dec 10

Good. Weed out the weak

Oh god, give this tired trope up already. No sane person wants to spend countless hours and days played leveling to 60, grinding dungeons for pre raid bis, attuning, farming MC gear… and then throw it all in the garbage and start from scratch on a new server, abandoning friends and guildmates in the process.

This is not a solution. The average person will simply quit the game instead. Population is down by a conservative 25% over the last two weeks across ALL realms. This isnt going to improve unless things change. Is that what you want? Dead servers and a dead game?

Sounds like 3 less people in queue. I don’t have sympathy for people who don’t enjoy a challenge, and just expect for everything to be easy. Yeah you’ll get camped, and leveling is different now than in phase 1, but you just need to learn new tactics.

TBH who cares if there’s no alliance left in the game

Yeah rather than just let your sub go to waste you should at least try a PVE server and play around, you might like it.

see you in 3 weeks…bye.

Battlegrounds came out after 7 or 8 weeks after the honor system. It’s not months early.

Can you explain this to me, please? Serious question. I honestly cannot comprehend paying a sub to play a game just to destroy the game and make other people unhappy in the process.

“What is best in life?”

“To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!”

“Good. That is good.”

I had a guild back in the day where we would get on vent and just camp the crap out of people until they logged off. Part of the fun is ruining other peoples fun. The best is when they would go onto the server forums to cry about it. We would do it for hours on the weekend with a few drinks and lot of laughs. After a while we would stop seeing the same names and we would assume they quit or rerolled on another server.

We wanted to make our server horde only and make any alliance players time playing a living hell. That was the whole point of my old guild. Man was it fun.

I still don’t understand. First, if you want PvP, why do you want to get rid of all the opposing players? You’ll have no one to PvP with. Secondly, I get that you think it’s fun to ruin someone’s day and damage the game, the question is why?

Um, I thought you rolled PvE?

I did. But that doesn’t mean I can’t explain the reasoning for it.

I dunno i just always thought is was funny to really piss people off in a game while breaking no rules so that they can’t do anything about it. Just knowing that someone is paying money to play a game and we were not letting them. And why would i want to get rid of the alliance? because they are scum and didn’t deserve to play on my server.

Really? You can’t understand the notion of sadism? There are people who pay billions to start wars for the lols, and never have trouble finding volunteers to join them in the venture.

I just don’t know how adults can be shocked by crappy behaviour in an anoynmous video game, given the planet we’re living on.

It doesn’t forgive it, of course, just because it’s commonplace - but the fact that it’s so commonplace and predictable makes me question either the honesty or the intelligence of someone who says they “cannot comprehend” this aspect of the human psyche.

Well, maybe comprehend was a bad choice of words, but w/e. I wanted to hear in their words why someone finds such things fun. While I technically understand it, I really don’t get it.

It is the same kind of thrill you get when you are playing Doom, and you turn on God Mode, and are able to run around laughing like mad as you kill everything in sight while they are unable to touch you. Oh, I can understand the rush.

Its the mindset of people who feel they lack agency and control in their real life, and have to take that out on others online.

honestly OP if you think that BG’s are gonna fix that problem youre mad lol…it’ll “help” but the entire point of classic is openworld-ness…thats what wpvp is and why its successful…

Me and my GF did the same, we can enjoy a lot of games we don’t need this game.
