when you are getting grave camped by a premade in WSG will you realize you should gb2 retail?

If BG’s were released tomorrow and horde queues are less than 10 minutes, there will be even less ganking than there was in phase 1.
The reason is, everyone trying to get honor will go to BG’s. And the people who were ganking in phase 1 because they were already BiS and had nothing better to do will also be doing BG’s because the PvP gear is BiS for almost everyone.
Why do you think the gankers want to stop BG’s from launching so badly? They know all their ganker buddies will go to BG’s the moment they are available.

You said that before. And why would you think, on a pvp server with thousands of players, that only a couple of hundred would be involved in the honor grind?
Even people on PvE servers are doing it, because you can choose to flag, form groups and go searching for others who are also flagged. Nothing stops pve players from going for the honor levels. Nothing stops anyone.
And please don’t say this is a recent event. Go check out youtube to see people like Asmongold and others who doubtless have vids up of their pvp adventures since launch. I went back two months and there was a vid about a pvp event that caused server issues, and another where he raided Orgrimmar. And thats just one streamer’s vids.
Why will it be moot? Do you think every person on the server will be doing battlegrounds? I doubt it. Premade 10ms will probably overpower bgs for quite some time, and those not able to join such premades will be out in the world as usual.
I seriously suggest that if you still want to play but can’t cope with pvp servers that you reroll on a pve server. If you can do it with friends you can level up fairly fast because you are more familiar with Classic now. And its much faster on PvE.

Why do you think this isn’t an apt comparison? People getting grave camped can just desert. There’s no deserting flightpath and world grave camping other than logging out; which is the opposite of what a player would want to do.

I thought only a couple hundred would be PvP’ing heavily, or what I would consider “ranking”. I expected big battles at SS/TM, BRM, raids on Orgrimmar/SW/Ironforge. I figured the casuals would mostly be doing zerg vs zerg raids, but only a tiny fraction of pvp’ers would be eagerly min-maxing their honor gains. And I expected the casuals to get bored of zergs pretty fast.
Basically, I underestimated the number of people who would be willing to camp for hours and hours a day to get an HK every 5-10 minutes.
These types of PvP events last for like 10 minutes and are over. APES has a cool video where they are PvP’ing like three full raids in BRM, but that was on their way into MC, and then it was over.
This non-stop zerg didn’t begin until phase 2.
Everyone actually trying to rank will be doing battlegrounds. The casuals will just play AV, because even losing an AV quickly to a premade is much better honor than world PvP.
As for WSG, it really depends on how Blizzard handles premade queues.
Like rolling on a pve server. That was a good choice.

The Que Que’s are rancid this time around. I remember last time, this is different. You knew what you were getting into when you signed up. Getting ganked and camped for hours is part of the pvp experience on a pvp server. I rolled on a pve, so i leveled already to 60. Have fun until your sub runs out. Been nice knowing that alliance is a bunch of quequers.
