I did the 3 bfa zones and now I want to do the questline to help Jaina and I can’t because I’m 61 and can’t queue for freehold anymore. I also guess I can’t do lfr for the raid to see what even happened to mekkatorque, I just have a gnome screaming at me that he’s fading fast.
Please make older storylines more accessible. I don’t like starting something and then being hard walled off from finishing it.
Bfa dungeons are weird. At the end of SL they scaled the open world and normal dungeons to 60, but heroic and mythic dungeons stayed 50, so normals are now harder than heroic and mythic at 60 lol. So you might be able to solo Freehold on Heroic at 61.
You can’t queue for old LFR from the group finder no matter what level you are. You need to talk to an NPC and it queues you solo instead. The raids are also not scaled to 60 like Heroic and Mythic dungeons.
The last wing has Mekkatorque, Stormwall Blockade, and Jaina Proudmoore as bosses so if you can find the npc (idk where it is on alliance. Sorry) you can try to solo it. I’ve done those 3 on LFR at 70, and it’s easily doable, but I’m not sure if they are possible at 60.
If you are unable to solo the dungeon or the raid, you can either wait until 70, or you can try using the group finder, to find others to help. There will probably be a group for Battle of Dazar’alor in the legacy section since it’s not soloable and drops a mount.
You might need to make your own group for freehold.
Once you have Chromie time turned off you can go finish the story lines, you can do that in Stormwind near the portals for cataclysm.
As for the raids, even if you could queue LFR you’d be waiting 10000 years because nobody is sitting at 60 looking to do LFR. Id recommend hitting 70 and getting to around 350 Ilvl, then either solo normal mode or find the NPC that lets you go in and solo LFR.
Most fights should be doable alone on normal or lfr barring a few.

Unless I missed a change somewhere, normal is still not Soloable because of the Terrace of the Chosen Akunda Mind Wipe, unless you’re a warlock thx to imp dispell, or mage / Pali for Block and Bubble respectively.
Then Rastakhan becomes a dps race, because you will instantly die at the start of phase 3, since no one is in the dead realm with Bwonsamdi.
You might have enough dps with season 3 gear, but I tried on this guy with Forbidden reach Catch up gear last season and I could only get him to like 15% before the 1 tap.

Bfa used to be all level 10-50 and you would do shadowlands 50-60 when sl was current.
At the end if SL, they scaled bfa quests and normal dungeons to 60 (I guess so we don’t have to do sl, and can go straight to df instead for 60-70) But kept heroics and raids at 50, since you don’t use those for leveling. Iirc I believe mechagon and Nazjatar is also still level 50, so BFA is kind of a mess atm lol

I was able to solo the heroic dungeon (one boss was really hard though and took me like 6 tries) and now that I’ve come to turn in the quest the NPC gives me an option to entrust them with the dungeon mission, skipping it entirely. I wish I knew about this before hand!
