Anyone else have it done? I hope the eye blurriness doesn’t last to long.
I don’t have much knowledge about this but my cousin has this same condition. He’s been avoiding surgery and keeps using the eye drops. If you need some support you can try looking at reddit r/Glaucoma. I see quite a few posts where people talk about things. Also here’s to hoping things go well
Not for glaucoma but I did have to get laser surgery to repair a hole in my retina a few years ago.
I was absolutely terrified and freaked out that I couldn’t see for a few seconds after the procedure (even though they told me it would take a few seconds to come back). In the end, I was being a big baby over absolutely nothing, but that’s normal and the surgeon and staff were very understanding.
You’ll be okay. Modern medicine is wonderful.
I haven’t but I do wish you a speedy recovery.
I’m a glaucoma suspect myself. The blurriness for me is more of a result of astigmatism which has seemed to taper off recently as I’ve been growing. The real fear is them saying at how susceptible I will be to getting it versus being eighty.
When I was 21 they told me I was more susceptible to it then when I was 16. I’ve been a glaucoma suspect since I was ten. So all it is getting tested every year and hearing the same. I will say that laser surgery isn’t going to cure it, it will eventually come back. At least from what I’ve read up on it. It’s a treatment, not a cure.
never had eye surgery of any sort but I’m getting a tooth extracted today so wishing us both a quick recovery!!!
At least when it’s over you get laser vision
