I have no pants

Blacksmithing pants (e.g. Fortified Stormsteel Legguards of the X). Every-time I log in, its showing red like it has zero durability and the little man on the right showing red pants. I then take the item off and back on and it miraculously fixes itself. It lowers my ilvl when this happens because its like i’m not wearing any pants. Then when I get race changed in BoD, I have to fix it yet again using the remove and replace method. Only for some reason my Horde form must not have the requisite Kul’tiran BS and thus it won’t let me put it back on! So then I have to do the raid with NO PANTS!

…I have no pants :scream:

And here I thought this was going to be about how pally tanks used to never have Mana to tank…

Our Pally tank back in the day used to tank pantsless just so he actually had Mana for his abilities. :rofl:

Why would you complain about not having pants?

That sounds like the opposite of a problem to me.

You know, if you use the armor polish that makes your armor invisible and then remove the buff, you will be playing as the enemy factions races in that raid but use your own xmog instead of the typical horde red spikes.

Pretty sure it’s a bug but it’s harmless and I like my xmogs better so I won’t report it

Is this on a toon that has a +BS racial?

I had the same issue with engineer googles on my gnome.

As i see it, when logging in the game isnt crediting you with the BS bonus.

If it is the case the problem will go away once you gain 10-15 BS levels.

LFD that has the +10 BS skill. My Kul’tiran BS skill is currently 153/160.

The BS pants require 150, according to wowhead, to use.

And i believe the kul tirans get a bonus to all professions.

So without the bonus youd actually be at 143.

So it looks like you may be having the same issue i had on my gnome with her goggles.

Its an annoying problem and i doubt it’ll ever be addressed. But the best option is to try and get those last few skillups.

Ah now I get it. My LFD can only wear it because of the +10 racial. But when transformed into a horde, I lose the racial and thus lose the skill req to wear it in the first place. Although that doesn’t explain when I’m not on BoD and the other issue occurs. Most likely a different bug resulting in a similar issue.

This is an obvious oversight on Blizz’s part. Beta for Azeroth strikes again.

i think when logging in the game checks your gears useability before it adds the racial bonus to the profession.

which somewhat explains why its not counted when logging in until its re-equipped.

So… where is the tailoring dummy I can use to up my Pants skill?

Tailors just grab a local gnome and use them instead. It’s why all the cloth clothes are made too small.
