I have no idea what's going on in WoW while questing

I feel like I’m just meandering through the quests. I have no idea what’s going on, or what all the zones are or their meanings. Even though I am not a huge lore pesron I still enjoyed Dragonflight quests and was somewhat easy to follow.

With TWW, i’m so confused. no sense of direction.

Mostly just bugs having civil war and now it’s everyone else’s problem.

Yep, narubians going crazy, Anduwinn trying to get his light back and alleria being a teenager lol

The earth dwarfs have a pretty cool lore tough! Enjoyed that zone quite a bit and same for the Kobolds lol

It’s what happens when you skip all quest text and cutscenes … I haven’t skipped and have a good idea what’s going on and why … Blizaard’s storytelling isn’t exactly nuanced.

Yeah, I feel that, too. I wasn’t around for the end of dragonflight, or all of shadowlands. I don’t know who this elf is or why she wants to destroy everything. Sure, “Azeroth” said this city of earthen were important and we should save them. There’s a dark heart that’s being used to bring the end of Azeroth, but no one knows what it is.

They were being intentionally vague to make it a mystery I think, but I think they went too far. There’s too much not known to understand why we are doing what we are doing, or why they are doing what they are doing. Being told I should care without explaining why is not good storytelling.

Out of context the story is just one more seemingly random bad guy with a new bad guy mcguffin bent on destroying the world, in a new undiscovered area that’s super important filled with super important people that didn’t exist before this point.
