13 max level characters and a seasonal event. I am trying to run The Crown Chemical Co. on each and now, on my 11th character I can’t enter the dungeon. I have to wait an hour. I am trying to get this crap done before work even though I am certain no mount will drop. Apparently there is a security measure preventing this: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/10994

Thanks Blizzard, great job. Once again your ineptitude shines bright by punishing legit players because you are too incompetent to develop measures that only target degenerate play. Bravo.

The instance lock has been a thing for ages now. It’s nothing new.

It’s probably I am just feeling it now that it is impacting me. I have no doubt I am an outlier, but it doesn’t make the development any less lazy.

Just take a break for 10-30 minutes, that’s what I did.

It’s probably a measure against bot farming of dungeons. But it never really affected me. So I didn’t care too much.

Yeah, no choice really but to come back tonight. Still, it is Blizzards M.O in how they tackle issues like botting, gold selling, RMT etc. Make everyone suffer because they don’t invest the time and resources into adequate solutions.

Okay, let’s calm down here. This isn’t a big deal lol. The too many instances thing has been around since forever.

Taking a break isn’t making everyone suffer lol. You guys always beg about how this game has too much to do and never having the time to do what you want outside of WOW because of FOMO, you have the opportunity now to do whatever the hell you want.

This lock has been in place since Vanilla, when folks were farming DM North (I think) for Quel’serar.

Also, just know that your first run is probably worth 20,30, or 50 of the other runs.

Just because someone has been around forever doesn’t mean it should remain around forever.

It’s an annoying and stupid gate to put on people. I refuse to believe they can’t figure out a way to remove the instance cap for this event.

How about they just buff the drop rate and give you 1 chance per day. That’s the best way to do it. I refuse to do it on more than 1 character per day.

Okay so if you have no examples to give of what they should invest in, how do you know they don’t already invest in the only measures available. I get you’re frustrated but if you have no knowledge of solutions on the subject matter why make baseless accusations?
