I currently have 3 characters geared in M+, 1 more still mostly geared from S1 and TEN more geared from this event. There are 14 armour and trinket slots and 1-2 weapon slots, that’s 10 characters for about 150 items mostly with about 150 more spare in my bank, most of which was obtained from dailies.
Give or take 250-300 dailies and yet, still no mount.
The thing drops a mount?
Is that why everyone else is obsessing over the event?
I figured it was just a good way of gearing up alts.
Oh it’s a fantastic way of gearing alts. Every alt doing 3 dailies is 3 pieces of guaranteed veteran gear, do that for a week across a handful of alts and now they are all 630 or so iLVL for very minimal effort.
But yeh, there is that purple shadowy lynx model mount that exists.
I got mine by rotating alts.
The daily quest bags drops it.
The only thing I dislike about it is the way the characters sit on it, looks like characters are doing the splits and it looks terrible. Hopefully devs fix it where it looks right.

I have 15 item slots, but the funny this is that the game calculates our average item level as if we have a second weapon or an off-hand/shield. If you use a 2h, it’s counted twice for the calculation.
Is it drop only? I thought i saw a lynx mount on the vendor too? Cant recall if it was purple and shady or not though
There are support groups that can help you with your hoarding problem.

Head to Hallowfall and check your map. Near the bottom left of the zone should have a marker
You have 3 daily quests and a once a day event (like the superbloom and soup of DF) that runs on the hour, every hour.
Completing the event gives you a currency token that you can buy a piece of veteran gear (nice black and white Arathi armor)

I was told the rank 9 renown lynx mount doesn’t fly.
It’s exactly what I’m looking for in mount
but it doesn’t fly, ground only 
totally killed my interest in that event.
The mogs aren’t a pull for me, I’m kinda just done with it unless they let the lynx fly really.
took me about 250 ish bags to get the mount, just keep at it 
I know this is going to be hard to believe but if you can gear 10 characters and you have enough stuff in there to gear 14 more there’s a chance you may be a hoarder.
There is one vendor and one RNG.
Oh, that was a drop? I got mine on the first day of the event, lol. Lucky me, I guess.
I got the mount pretty early on, and I’ve just been funneling the gear to my mage for disenchanting.
Is the lynx mount the same as the Spreading the Light one? Cause I have that one and its coloring is very dark and low contrast, which is really noticeable when you pull out another mount.
I get tons of gear from the event but don’t need vet gear on any of my alts at this point. Only the once a week champ token is useful on one alt. But I do the scenarios for the heck of it. My time would probably be better spent in Undermine finishing up those rep grinds.
