I have a problem using my mouse to move

For as long as I’ve played wow I’ve always had the ability to simultaneously press my left/right mouse buttons to move forward, yet the last couple days it stops working during combat… I’ll press both buttons and the character will start to move for a second then stop, as if I released the buttons. Upon actually releasing both buttons, it’ll move the character for a split second.

I’ve updated, reinstalled, removed, disabled and enabled mods exhaustively, changed, switched and defaulted key bindings. Tried different characters, tried reloading, I might even try buying a new mouse if I cant find anyone to explain what this is or how to fix it. I’m stumped and cant find much info on this.

Anyone know what this is??

The contacts in the mouse buttons may be on the way out. This is a classic symptom that happens before they stop working. Test another mouse.

No extra mouse currently, just ordered one and will update asap

Update! Ended up finding an old mouse to use while I wait for the new one I ordered and the problem was the specific mouse. This one from like 2009 works better :man_shrugging: so problem solved, thank you!

Glad you found a solution. The contacts in many modern mice are super cheap, basically built to break, so it makes sense the 2009 one works better.
