I hate web tickets

just let me talk to someone through chat. why can’t i talk through chat? what’s wrong with chatting about issues? web tickets take to long to get done what i need done. something simple and quick but i have to wait a day to a week before i get a response on it. why?

Never post tickets during weekends or holidays, so much worse when its a weekend followed by a holiday such as this Monday.

what happens monday? mardi gras isn’t til’ next month

the vast majority of issues don’t require any back and forth.

waiting around for everyone to have a chat, will make it take even longer.

oh yes. because chatting takes a week. i never want you to call/text my phone.

Probably not enough people to handle every problem individually as they happen.

not anymore since the layoffs probably. that sucks.

They barely have enough employees to make warfronts what makes you think they have the resources to allocate toward this lmao

Because they have made bad customer service decisions in order to save costs. Which piss off more consumers, which means less subs. Which means more cuts, into a downward spiral of failure. Just look at the recent cuts, Just look at all the games that ended up going into maintenance mode because of decisions like that. Heck I remember the days when WoW had its highest sub base, and you could just call them up on the phone with your issues, and talk to a rep.

National Holiday, President’s Day.

OH I FORGOT!
you’re the only person who currently needs assistance.

do you understand that there are people in the queue ahead of you?

if every one of those people requires a “chat”, you’re going to be waiting longer.
not sure why that’s hard to understand.

oh no. not a queue of people ahead of me. maybe if activision didn’t fire all their employees the queue times for chatting would be…idk…lower. just a thought. but, you are right. chatting would take longer than a week since the layoffs.

i don’t care if it takes hours. i just don’t want it to take days. how is that hard to understand?

it took days prior to anyone being laid off.

yeah to make a web ticket. never took me days with chat. only hours.

in that case, you’re relatively new.

The ticket system was streamlined into what it is now, because ticket times were almost hitting 2 weeks due to people wanting to “chat”, and getting snippy when the person who was WORKING had to excuse themself and end the chat. (even after the issue had been solved)

Yeah, there were not enough BEFORE the layoffs.

You get answers here faster. Most tickets are probably things they can’t answer, or won’t help with anyway.

never happened to me.

There are very few issues that actually require them to speak with you.

Right now, only billing and account services as well as tech support are available via Live Chat/Call back as those tend to be the issues that actually need a back and forth.

Otherwise, you’re just trying to take up more time discussing/arguing/debating/etc. with a GM whose answer wouldn’t change anyway with that conversation.

So what issues is it that you feel you need to be able to reach a GM via Live Chat? Perhaps you’re just using the wrong option and we can link you a better one? Or maybe it’s really not something to waste a GM’s time with. Or maybe there’s a more efficient option for you too. There are a few things GMs used to be required to do, that we can do now as players on our own (no need for a ticket or wasted time at all).

but i’m not trying to discuss/argue/debate/etc. anything. i just want them to take a look at something and tell me something and then be on my merry way.

Why do you need them to do that via Live Chat? What’s so urgent that you can’t wait on your ticket. Context is everything when it comes to tickets. You don’t have to give specifics, but if everyone just wants a GM to “take a look at something”, how long do you think you’ll be waiting to get into that Live Chat?

Probably a couple of days…just say’n.
