It has a lot of flair, for some reason. I am old and resistant to change.
I rarely use my phone for forums. Too busy playing mobile games on it. With that I donāt find them much different than the old forums. The scrolling will take some getting used to though.
Pages are OK, but you can click the little bookmark icon and save individual posts, so if you need to reference a specific post, you can do that instead of a specific page.
Definitely not a solution to pages, but it might help!
Itāsā¦different. It will certainly take time to get used to, but I think it could grow on me.
Like everything it will take time to get used to it, but im liking it. feels very smooth on PC.
I like the live updating. This is nice!
I naturally hate anything new so Iāll hold judgement for now. However, one objectively terrible thing is that you need to scroll a lot more since thereās a ton of dead space between posts. I really dislike when websites revamp themselves to look fancier at the expense of usability.
I suspect I will like it once I get used to all the new things.
Right now, Iām all glaring at my screen all how do Iā¦ and what does this do and where isā¦ and grrrā¦change.
Two things I dislike about it is that you canāt post links until a certain level is reached, and you have to go a bit of a ways to see someoneās profile.
At least they kept the colour scheme.
Iām giving it some time but yeah I have already observed some annoyances like the scrolling that I donāt know if I will get over lol
Itās too cluttered. Lots of unnecessary information going on.
I donāt want to use complete sentences.
I donāt want to post at least 10 characters.
I liked having pages so that I could bookmark progress in the thread.
The margins are weird, and the spacing for height makes each post too tall. Itās a chore to read anything. Itās like a stocky, chubby kid.
I was excited for the forums and have always been on forums, but this is not the correct route for WoW forums.
New Things!!!
Normally, Iām the first to completely hate change, like almost every youtube change, most Chrome changes, etc. But this time around? I donāt completely hate it.
Thereās some problems here and there that happen and are mildly irritating but if they get fixed and time passes people can and will get used to it.
I figured itās because you can no longer make stupid panda threads youāre so fond of.
i can still do it. why could i not
Well, I did like seeing that edit live.
Refer to the syntax guide. You cannot post a live link, but can post one by placing it in ` marks resulting in a text only link that can be used to visit a page manually.
Thanks for the tip!
I actually like it better on my phone. there is still alot to get used to but I donāt mind the infinite scrolling on the phone
It felt weird on desktop though.
slowly getting use to it i just think of it as one big chatroom now
