this game. Idk. The devs suck. They are Diablo 3 devs, not wow devs. They are ruining this game that I love. Ion is the worst. I’m so depressed that my favorite game is trash. Plus we have story writers that simp for Sylvanas so hard that they remove dialog from 5 expansions ago.

Idk why everyone really hates WoW right now, the only part I wasn’t really a big fan of was random corruption, but it didn’t make me hate the game.
Maybe it has something to do with that I started WoW in Legion, I just still like the game. Fun to just do random things, collect toys, pets, mounts, explore, etc.
The story I actually really like and I’m excited for Shadowlands. I’d be happy to hear what people don’t like about it specifically. Maybe I’m just being too optimistic, but meh

But I’m happy that they at least acknowledged that it’s so bad and unsavable that they gave us Classic to play, and the possibility of TBC and other expansion are in sight too.

Quite possibly. A lot of the people who aren’t super satisfied with how the game is now simply remember a time from before where WoW much different.
Players who haven’t been invested pre-WoD simply never had that experience, so what we have now is all they know.
Agreed, I hate this game but also love it.
I have an addictive personality and am likely hopelessly attached to this game and my characters.
They should give the pen to Thrall and Tyrande now. Anduin and Sylvanas wrote themselves through all BFA! And it seems Sylvanas stole Anduin’s pen in Shadowlands.

I’ve been playing this game since the end of Vanilla. I hate the story of it, because I genuinely believe even Blizzard has given up caring about the story, but I don’t hate the game itself. If I did I would probably stop playing (though really I’m hopelessly with the game until the end, I think).
I will say I took more breaks this expansion than any other, though. BfA was just bad. I hope Shadowlands is better.
I know when I started BfA I was like I hope this expansion is alright I was disappointed. I played but got burned out fairly quickly on different aspects of this expansion. I took several breaks between patches came back played said patches. I have just tolerated this expansion. All the borrowed power is getting old to me. But the system is going to be implemented again in Shadowlands.
We can only hope that Shadowlands is going to be alright…Right?
Saying that though, I do really miss Legion so I can kinda get what people are saying… kinda…
I feel like some people might just get sick of this game because they play it too much. I only really play WoW casually, like maybe once or twice a week at the most, I fill in my other days with work ofc but also other games to play in the meantime!

I enjoy wow I just hate the time gates on content.
I feel like they are just keeping the lights on with world of warcraft, they could do alot more.
Unless blizzard have a massively secret project in the works it seems to me they’ve lost the magic and passion to make video games that are next level.
People have been calling this game “Trash” for well over 10 years.

Generally older fans of every massive franchise gets upset because thing’s change and don’t go the route they want.

Right there with you. I’m still hanging around because of good times had in past xpacs.
But development just doesn’t feel the same anymore or like they’re even trying to keep up with the quality of older xpacs.

It’s sad that most of the hype around Shadowlands is just reversing mistakes the developers have made over the years.
I’m more excited about corruption being removed in the prepatch than the prepatch itself.
