No footsies!

and… this is why you use them BEFORE the dungeon or raid or when you’re waiting for people…
People think they are being polite waiting until right before your about to pull the first trash pack to drop them so everyone has a chance to get the buff.
How do we even know what the spirit of the item is?
I feel it’s a nice like /dbm break 3
for dungeon grinding groups, but maybe that’s not the spirit of the item?
Sharing a sleeping bag is all fun and games until somebody gets pregnant.
Oh no being “forced” into a 3 minute gaming break where you either get a drink or talk to other players- in a game where most of the content is player interaction.
The horror.
I LOVED that about the bag.
The real reason you do the sleeping bag quest lol
My guild did the math. Over 20 hrs it saves you like 36 min, but it’ll take you 18 minutes to save that 36 min… So you really saved 18 min.
So the sleeping bag saves you 1.5% leveling time. Assuming you actually played nonstop or close to nonstop while logged on.
The times it makes sense to use are when you’re stopped for another reason therefore you’re losing nothing.
I picked up the latest copy of GamePro magazine from Electronics Boutique and it had some amazing industry insider details about the Cozy Sleeping Bag:
In the Alpha, it took over TEN MINUTES to get the full benefit, 3 minutes and 30 seconds per stack.
The Cozy Sleeping Bag took over 68,000 human-hours to build, and production started back in Warlords of Draenor when the Leatherworking Tents were released.
Several versions of the bag were tried out, and the one that was mass-produced for consumer use allows you to cast buff spells, drink, trade water, and more while inside of the sleeping bag, so you actually can combine multiple activities at once.
A later version of the sleeping bag was a 5 minute rest requirement, with each stack taking ONE HUNDRED SECONDS to apply.
Apparently we’re using a version that saw input from real-world adventurers and dragonslayers alike.
I love GamePro magazine!
I have a degree which is not in math, but I bet if someone who was a whizz in math were to crunch the numbers on a 3 minute wait for a 3% exp buff which lasts for 2 hours … you’d learn fairly quick the 3 minutes is negligible.
In short … it is absolutely unreasonable to be upset about a 3 minute wait.
If 3 minutes of their time is so precious, then maybe they should drop group and find another one? (hint … it’d likely take longer than 3 minutes).
If you have the buff… it refreshes sull stacks in 1 min…
