I hate the 4th of July

Same with pit pull attacks

… you think we can feed countries like China, India and America with wild animals?

Well, since you hate animals that would be the fastest way to get rid of all life on the planet.

His post was about 4th of july, I responded about that day. And no, that doesn’t happen often. Unless people are protesting and shooting them at buildings killing people, of course.

You can be Empathetic while also believing you can’t cater to every single person problems.

I hate the 4th because inconsiderate low lives think they can continue to shoot fireworks 4 days after the holiday, until the middle of the night.

No I do not, But I also believe population is a problem. Although that is another subject entirely.

Ok. But my point was if you are downplaying animals because of “what benefit do they bring” in support of fireworks, just sounds silly.

It also happens on the 3rd of July. The 5th of July, Dec 31, Jan 1, Jan 2nd. Just to name a few.

My point is it happens more than one day a year.

In recent years it’s May-August, because that’s when they are on sale. People buy them and set them off here all the time since they became legal to buy.

That was a statement made purely because the OP said the exact same thing about fireworks. But yeah. Not seeing those sorts of things happens when you don’t read the entire thread (I don’t blame you)

Then we shouldnt be crying about them then

I would say that throughout human history, animals have brought a ton more to the table than fireworks.

My original statement was just me being flippant and to see who else (jokingly) hates the 4th of July. I never wanted to delete the 4th or fireworks (like you falsely claimed). All I was doing was trying to start a dialog with other pet owners.

Yes, I think firework shows should be done by professionals to reduce the chance of run away pets, PTSD triggers and forest fires. But you know what? That’s just an opinion. I’m not a governor or anyone in position to write law and I’m allowed to have an opinion.

This was never about catering to every single person’s problems. That’s just your assumption.

They also brought a ton more grief. Almost every single massive disease has came from animals. Including our current outbreak.

I’m sure the guy that just lost his house close to me because of them is pissed off and not really crying. He had to jump from the roof of his porch to escape the fire and hurt himself.

I would lay more of the blame of the current outbreak on humans, not animals.

We had the power to stop it. We are refusing to.

Civilization would not be here if it wasn’t for domesticated animals.

That really depends on perceptive Tbh. You can either blame the root source. Or those that are dumb and spread it.

Civilization would still be here without domesticated animals. It would just be different. Honestly impossible to know how we would of evolved technologically speaking without Animals.

I haven’t seen any connection to the root source of Covid 19 and domesticated animals.

Corona type Virus’s get their name from the Crown type shape. These crown shaped Virus’s all come from animals and generally are always unable to cross from Animal to human and from Human to animal. It is exposure which allows them to mutate and create that ability to cross that gap. Prolonged exposure like this is usually only possible by sharing the same living space. While you are correct they didn’t come out and specifically say that this is the case with Covid-19 yet. That is more because they don’t really know where it started yet. But history has shown time and time again. This is almost always the case with this specific virus type.

So they don’t know that it started from domesticated animals?

Thanks for clearing that up.

A great snip, but it doesn’t detract from the rest of the statement.
