So I “was” trying to get the Barb Mount or whatever that bug is and today’s quest is to defeat a legendary pet in a battle with the level 1 barb in group.
I hate pet battles and I tried and killed all my pets because I DON"T LIKE PET BATTLES!!! So what now I don’t get the mount? Is this another “just waste the players time to keep online” BS ploy? Why does Blizzard insist on Pi@#^^g off it’s customers?
Don’t tell me they don’t I can quote dozens of post’s and videos that do just that. Ya know what…nevermind I will only be inundated with moronic drivel from fanboys. (Trumpets flare as the mindless drones enter convo to blast the OP). Screw your Pokemon obsession.
The mount is optional, and locked behind a specific mode of play. No different from mounts that are exclusive to Mythic or PvP content. If you don’t like the content, than you won’t get the mount. Simple.

Skip it. Todays quest for me was to kill stuff with the pet out. Just wait for that one to come around.

First of all, the quest isn’t “win a battle with the level 1”. Go level him.
Second, those battles are easy and you can win them with only two pets. Wowhead will tell you multiple ways of doing so.

Its funny because of how much of a joke those pet battles are. To the point you can use 3 lvl 1 pets and typically easily win.
Of course. Because yelling at Blizzard is never enough. Let’s just insult others for no reason while we’re at it.

Fun fact: you can just skip it. Another will be up and it’ll be a kill quest. You can still get the mount without doing the pet battle.

This isn’t “end game content,” sir. It’s a pet battle. Let’s not act as if they walked into a Mythic raid.

I hate having to group to get my ARs unlocked, but I did it.
Ok I need to log in and see what this quest is that has you so upset.
Apparently you don’t actually need to do the pet battles, you can just do extra “kill things for 10 minutes” quests instead. They just both reward you with the EXP you need to finish the quest, so it will take you longer is all.
As for the pet battles themselves, there are guides out there that will actually tell you which pets you should use and what attacks to use to help you win.
