I bought the Big Battle Bear laat year from someone for a great deal. Been listing it for $4.6 mil on AH for the past month or two. Last night, when mass posting auction that i do 6-8 times daily (while possibly drunk too), I posted BBB for default AH price of 1 silver. In the 2 seconds before I could even cancel the auction, someone bought it.
Gonna message the dude hoping he’ll be cool and give it back for a fat tip, but it’s a longshot.
Blizz, please remove default AH price when no auctions are present and make it so you must manually enter a price. You, alcohol, and my dumb a** just cost me big time!
Update: Went to message the person, he blocked me. LMAO!

I did something similar with a Onyx Panther mount once. I immediately got out of that market cause my heart just couldn’t take it anymore.

I sold a swift spectral tiger mount for near gold cap back near the end of WoD. It was just a few weeks before they announced the gold cap was going from 1 mil to 10 mil.
The same mount that was selling for 750k-900k immediately started selling for 6-9 mil. I threw up a little in my mouth.

Whenever I log on one thing I do is go to the AH & look to see if some one posted a very rare auction able mount for a low price just so I can snatch it.
Kind of like the time I sold all the alcohol I gathered during a holiday event in guild wars 1. Made several hundred platinum (there was an achievement for drinking a lot and it wasn’t easy to get as much as I had), which was more than enough to do anything I wanted.
So yeah, the character I sold it on, I deleted before transferring the money to stash. Because I wanted a cooler name for that new necro. No such thing as character restore so poof.
Yep, that is the story of how I stopped playing that game cold and never quite was able to go back. I don’t hate my life over it but I sure hate that L, even though that game means jack to me now.

I wonder if you could petition Blizzard on that. Some video games used to get in the middle of bad trade practices. Players getting ripped off, etc. Especially if the other player has had complaints of cheating ppl before.
Who knows. The worst they can say is no.
Worse things could happen but I feel your pain.
I woulda bought it and if I saw it and messaged you in game about it. This has happened to me before and someone mailed it back and was like, “Did you mean to put this up for so cheap?”
