I hate how selfish people are

Y’all could’ve left the instance group, stayed in raid group and just relisted it, then requeued. That’s what we did for Black Temple and Ulduar.

People run a skip for the last boss, then the first five, because it gets them the rewards for both quests.

But we can work around it.

Yeah, to be fair some of the blame lies with Blizzard/the devs themselves

People will ALWAYS take the path of least resistance, that’s just human nature and the whole idea behind min/max culture

…so when the dev’s put a “BiS” trinket on an early boss in the dungeon (for example, say… boss 1/3 in the dungeon) then it’s no surprise when randoms/pugs farm the crap out of that specific 1/3 boss and simply drop group the millisecond they loot and see that the “BiS” item didn’t drop :joy: Then subsequent backfill pugs come in and feel ripped off when they see it’s a “1/3” in-progress “used” dungeon

Another example is LFR or pug raids, where people drop as soon as they either get the item they were after or the millisecond some weekly quest hits “Complete!”

So yes, game design/the dev’s questionable choices (…such as putting a “best” trinket on boss 1/3) do play a role in player behavior

The group isn’t bricked. They just forgot they can leave instance and still requeue the raid.

And we know exactly why it’s done.

Me when I ask my friend Charlie what a bestselling wet-wipe brand would be called if he made one.

Nonsense. I’ve seen plenty of these matches turn around, but it’s not a quick, easy win so these people bail and a bunch of people who have been waiting in a queue for who knows how long get thrown into a battle where they’re starting off already behind.

“To be fair”

lol love your name.

I’m uncertain why me being polite about disagreeing with you is worth mockery.

I’m also uncertain what Epic BGs you are doing. One of said exceptions was me sitting in IoC for at, or over, two hours as we drained over 300 reinforcements. It was not worth the win, although it was certainly a spectacle. Most cases, it’s just sitting around while you eventually lose after losing the first battle.

You think it’s “fair” to abandon a match 2 min into the fight and force others who have been waiting to finish off what you signed up for because it’s not going to be a quick and easy win? If you’re going to give up at the first setback, don’t bother signing up.

I mean i understand that being frustrating and im not trying to downplay it but ive ran a ton of tw raids and never seen this. It isnt the average experience.

It’s like they say in Customer Service, someone will go through hundreds of positive interactions and not even notice.

But a single negative interaction will not only ruin their entire day, but poison the brand in their mind.

You totally ignored all of what I said, you’re not even arguing it at all. You just see people leaving, and I gave a fair argument as to why people are leaving. And yes, it’s not entirely their fault.

It’s not ‘giving up at the first setback’, it’s that Epic BGs are, collectively, garbage and revolve around getting and keeping the upper hand.

I’m still waiting to hear of these mythical Epic BGs you’ve been partaking in. Tell me a time you won when you lost Sunken Ring, RoC, or Hanger.

I don’t think this is a “selfish people issue”.
People are just trying to get their kills in for the week and will take any invite they can. I don’t blame them for that or for not wanting to waste their time on bosses they don’t need.

Imo, Blizz should add every raid difficulty to LFR in wings. Add ilvl requirements and and a full clear of the easier difficulties.

Glaives ftw ive def won no hangar

No you didn’t. You made excuses for selfish players and I thought it was a lame excuse. Still do.

Yet you continue to ignore anything I’m saying. Well, enjoy conversing with your self made wall.

That I don’t really believe. Even a lone dedicated rogue can shank a glaive machine in mere moments. And usually they’re not alone.

Pugs are usually in it for themselves because they figure they will never see you again so your grievances won’t matter. The me-first mentality is all about people putting themselves first because as far as some folks are concerned everyone else in the party/raid might as well be bots.

It’s the same deal in pugging a current raid or even doing a mog run- people will drop after X boss even if the run is stated as a full clear. No one really gives a hoot if it says full clear when they want their item off of X boss.

That’s a lot of words to say you felt personally attacked by the OP lmao.

Maybe some introspection might be in order if you take a world of wacraft tm forum post to heart like that.
