I HATE flame's radiance

this is like the least enjoyable form of content…

i go to check out the new stuff is and so i pick up the few quests available (please tell me theyre weeklies and not dailies)…and so i head over to the places and whats there? nothing…just kill stuff…thats right…in the same exact spot where there are currently 2 world quests that you no longer do because farming those mobs/areas stopped being important about half a year ago…

basically this faction is go do the stuff you no longer do…again…and frankly that is the laziest form of content i can think of…i HATE it

Looks at every kill quest and return to zone quest in the game over the past 20 years :eyes:

thats fine and i suspect many will opt to go with that…theres always some level of repetition in this game (dailies, reps, grinds, etc)…i expect that

…but it doesnt change the fact that we had a content patch for this…i dont know about you but typically i welcome something new to do in the game…this falls waaaaaaaaay short in the worst possible way

siren isle wasnt the greatest addition to the game…but it was at least something different

and dont get me started on the other “addition” we’re getting in a few weeks…re-do BFA content…oh boy

It looks like the rewards are cosmetics and alt gear. Is it non-content? Yes. Is it mostly broken on many servers? Yes.

I forgot where I was going with this.

People toss that term around too much.

Mid season* content patch. And the rest of it drops in May.

If you don’t like mid season content and want to twiddle your thumbs for 6+ months of nothing but day 1 11.1 stuff. Then do that and ignore the new stuff

Its wild to me that people complain this much over bonus content.
Like many of us have paid our $15 monthly for 15+ years. We went through countless seasons of literal nothingness after the main patch dropped.
Even if the content isn’t super amazing, I am still super appreciative because I remember all the nothingness prior.

the criticism is that its hard to call it content when its just do stuff over again

and ive been here since beginning…im quite familiar with all of the games “additions” over the years…this is a low point amongst many other lows

Content droughts used to be common and miserable. Getting regular updates like they’ve been doing used to be a pipe dream. Yeah, there’s bumps in the road, but they’ll get it ironed out in a few days.

There’s still a ton to do outside of what we just got.

Indeed the only way to show displeasure is to simply not even do it.

Didn’t realize this rep and this tmog and stuff was here in previous seasons.
My bad.

Tbh the low point is qqing about extra content we never received previously.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, tell me of your exploits 3 to 4 months into say… wrath? Mop?
Like none of those xpacs prior to df had midseason drops like what we get now.

6+ months of not a spec of new content until the next major patch.

Know what I don’t like? Coconut. Know what I don’t eat?

Simple.

But sure, you don’t get as much validation on the internet unless you are ranting about something you don’t like.

Now that ought to be illegal honestly

Rep Farming is only fun when there are entertaining and enjoyable ways of farming it. I will do it only for the Tmogs. Once I get those, peace.

it gives nothing i want but id still like to be able to complete the quests for … reasons.

i killed the champion and didnt get credit, and now he wont ever show up again lol.

The mini patches have been 90 percent trash. They need to start being ambitious again. This is PATHETIC.

But there’s three of them in the same zone, doing the same thing, accruing different rates of ‘points’.

They had to split up the patch for an event no larger than a postage stamp with three daily postage stamps that have you doing the same exact thing.

I think it’s fair to criticize when Blizzard is doing garbage work.

Haha this is Blizzbot catnip. They can’t resist getting in the comments to white knight and gaslight. “Uh Ashkually this is the best content drop ever sir.”

That’s not really fair criticism when this “mid season” patch hit 2 months into 11.1. So the rest of it is hitting at month 3. Seems fair to me. Tbh they should have just dropped it all next month together so all this pointless qqing over “timegating” wouldn’t have even started lol.

Who said this?

Citation needed.

That’s why I think the staggered release doesn’t make sense for what we get. It would if the Nightfall feature was robust, but it’s not.

Having Nightfall, Horrific Visions and Duos together just 1 week apart from each other would be actual “enough” content at once for a minor patch like this.
