If they could add in gathering while mounted, I’d be so happy :’)
Eventually I do hope they let us do either/both in DF zones. If not for gathering, for those who legitimately can’t do dragonriding for whatever health reason.

You’re not alone. Cringeriding is not fun. It’s do damn irritating they tip toe around just giving us flying. It exists. It has existed in the game since the first expansion. There’s nothing wrong with it. Just stop.

I find it hilarious how the only argument against normal flying is “it’s boring and not fun” LMFAO, bro you don’t have to do it. You can do maximum gliding all you want and not be affected by all the other people flying normally, hell normal flying is slower so we’re actually gimping ourselves by doing it. Personally I hate Dragonriding, I hate the culture of water striders seeing as it’s the only mount I ever see anymore because everyone is forced to play the stupid gliding mini game. I like the coasting vibe of ordinary riding, the fact you don’t even have an option is the issue Blizzard never seems to get out of their stubborn heads. Force force force force, they never learn. Having both normal flying and dragon gliding only adds to the game, not against.

I don’t dislike dragonflying atm I jut think it’ll get old fast and that I’m not a fan of. The whole point for flying imo is just to get places faster and reach areas you couldn’t before. I don’t want a minigame that I have to worry about just to fly(more like gliding but ya know). Not saying it’s hard just annoying. I honestly use the flight paths the most because I get tired of doing it.

Blame Blizzard and a loud minority of players that wanted flying removed, or at least for WoD so we can enjoy ground mounts.
Then pathfinder followed, and has been standard up until DF
Just say good things about DR or you will end up running around the ground for much of the next 5 or so future expansions.

Why not the beginning? What does it take away from Dragon Riders considering they are exponentially faster and it takes less than 2hrs to get all the glyphs?

Why would they step all over their new creation. Having both types of flying from the start makes the new content kinda pointless as it’s designed with DR in mind.
And maybe look at it this way. DR is an undecided borrowed power right now, if it’s viewed as a failure then it’s back to running on the ground for a year before you can finish pathfinder next expansion. It’s NOT normal flying vs DR…yet
