…because now every time I go back to the old world, I’m reminded that I have to suffer the fact that I can only use the slow, boring no-clip air-swimming, also known as “regular flying”.
It’s an awfully jarring experience.
Either completely replace no-clip air-swimming with dragonriding, or give us dragonriding in the old world.
Or just have both options really.
Personally, the old flying didn’t feel outdated to me.

We know dragon riding works in the old world because Dragon bois can do it. It is their racial and works exactly the same. I just need to know one thing. Do you feel lucky punk? Well… do you?
Both options is the real answer here. There’s literally no reason both cannot coexist at the same time.
Dragon riding is so new it would take them a lot of time to rework it into the old world. I do hope it’s a permanent feature going forward.
I like this, but the idea of TBC flight in DRAGONFLIGHT bothers me.
It wouldn’t be that bad once 11.0 is out and DF is in Chromie Time, but DR will always be superior to TBC flying.
Well don’t replace it, obviously. Lots of people still prefer it, and some still have physical issues with dragon riding. But adding dragon riding to all other flying zones would be amazing.
Dragon riding is something they are testing out and seeing if players like it. They’ll add it soon enough.

Dragonriding should replace old flying.
Make a new type of dynamic ground mount riding too with abilities like leap, dash and ram.
Of course an old courser flying in the air would feel weird with the dagonriding dynamics, but they can do it.

I fully agree with this. However if someone wants to be slower than me, that’s fine. I don’t have a problem with it being in DF.
Both options is the best thing to do, Makes more people happy, happy people stay subbed longer, It’s a win win for Blizzard.

I’d love dragonriding in the old world. I hate having to revert back to the garbage that is no-clip sky swimming. It’s miserable.
