Spent 10 minutes looking for my pet this morning only to realize it’s Classic only.

Retail has the files and info for it to come to Retail, as in a move set and stats. So we’ll likely see it on retail, but we don’t have any info on how/when.
Hard agree on new Classic-only companion pets. If they added existing Retail pets to Classic, I’d be fine with that. Add the Bakar Companion (as it exists now and not a “new” reskin or w/e) as a Classic reward or something, so WotLK Classic gets it many expansions early? Sure!

It’s been a while since it was implemented but does Wrath even have the collection tab for pets like Retail does?

it is literally one of the dumbest ideas that they have had
They felt the need to dangle some kind of carrot for Classic Andys, since the mount is retail-only.
Maybe the “classic-only” part is about appeasing hypersensitive Classic players’ delicate sense of fairness. “Retail got two gifts and we only got one!”
They really should make both the mount and pet available in both retail and classic like they did with the classic Cat pre-purchase.

The Classic Cata edition came with a pet that was only for Retail. It’s their “clever” way to cross-promote.
