This is superficial and minor, but when a chest piece doesn’t cover the neck, and the matching helm leave a gap between the helm and chest piece, it drives me absolutely crazy. I just… why? Why was it modeled that way? Who looked at that and said: “Yep, walking around fully armored with your neck exposed is the way.”
Bruh…
So your character walks around fully covered except the neck… it drives me crazy.
There are entire armor sets I refuse to wear because of this, and some races it’s worse than others. Kul Tiran males probably have it the worst, their bodies are so big and helms are scaled to be so small on them, it constantly leaves this neck gap
I realize it’s minor, and doesn’t impact gameplay at all, it’s just something I find so irritating
I have trouble putting helms on my paladin, seeing the helm bobble above her neck tendrils gives me sympathy pains for a body part that doesn’t even exist on humans. It looks like it would be so uncomfortable and painful to have a plate helm on without securing the tendrils to prevent from getting smushed.
A possible solution would be to sell shirts (those you wear under armour) on the Trading Post that cover the neck (I’d really like a black one) or allow Tailors to make them.
Unless they changed it, it clearly just cuts off your head. Your head is actually missing. So its more than just a gap, its a gap and you can tell from the gap that you have been decapitated.
Whatever you do, WHATEVER you do, do NOT play a human female plate-wearer. Almost every single helmet they can put on COMPLETELY exposes the back of their neck
