I had to unsub from so many streamers cause classic

I was subbed to 5 streamers cause I liked their BFA gameplay. Now they moved to classic and I can’t take it anymore so I unsubbed. Twitch is filled with nothing but classic streams now I cant take it:(

Most of them are already quitting or are getting tired of Classic so…

Cool.

Give it a few days. They will go back to bfa as their numbers drop.

Give it time, they’ll eventually hit the glass ceiling. And lose interest.

Only time will tell. I have predicted that within about 3 months the charm will wear off. This is just my opinion…only time will tell.

Streamers, especially large ones, tend to follow the hype to capitalize on views. Check them out in ~3 months and I’d wager many of them will be back to BfA or doing something non-WoW related entirely.

classic isnt a good spectator game, people will get tired of it. lots of time spend just travelling around.

Just stop watching them all. Wouldn’t you rather be playing?

I’d like to ask you, what’s the appeal of streamers? I mean, I’ll watch a clip of something funny happening or some pro doing something in a game. But just sit there watching someone play a game?

Why not just invite someone over, have them sit down and play a game while you chat with them on the couch?

I would never watch a wow streamers unless, perhaps trying to learn the tank role.

Your first mistake was subscribing to any WoW streamer.

I have watched a few streamers and to be honest I have no idea why people watch them. They are basically just playing music or talking to viewers and getting subscriptions and money. The playing music and talking you can do that with family and friends. I just don’t see the appeal myself.

Anniversary week they will switch back to bfa for mount. 2 months until then though.

There are some streamers I like. I treat their streams like I would treat a podcast: I turn it on as background noise while I grind out dailies. Crendor and Jesse Cox are my favorite to listen/watch. I don’t know that I would ever sit and watch them, but they’re at the very least entertaining to listen to.

On the other hand, I don’t know why anyone would watch any high profile WoW streamer. Literally every streamer that streams WoW full time has some sort of elitist, toxic personality, and hardly even play WoW to begin with. They just do reaction videos while WoW sits idle in the background. The most notable one is Asmongold, but I’ve seen Venruki and Sodapoppin do it too. Meanwhile their chats spam memes and emoticons because “lol memelord humor funny” while the streamer’s playlist plays some awful, metal/punk rock music on repeat.

I don’t understand the fascination with watching other people play.

I use them as background noise when I play. So basically I’ll just listen to them talk while I play. It’s kinda relaxing

That frees time for streamers to interact with chat, but whether it will be helpful enough depends on both the streamer and community.

There’s two parts to this. Most of the streamers will head back to BFA in a month or so, but in about 3 months time phase 2 will begin in classic. Phase 2 is when the PvP will heat up and massive streamer battles will take place (Asmon vs Soda/Shroud for example). So the streamers will come back to classic for phase 2, then head back to BFA again after that  (except for Shroud who doesn’t play BFA)
