This is legitimately the only disadvantage the alliance have in classic. And it is significant.
It’s also NOT TRUE to vanilla. Remember the legendary bridge defense in classic? No, you don’t, because the GY spawn order is ****ed.

Horde didn’t turtle in Vanilla like they do in Classic.

wow, a horde player that truely gets the advantage horde have over alliance in AV… you have my respect.
well, premades made horde into what they are now… you are right tho. horde didnt camp SHGY in vanilla… horde were clueless back then and remained clueless up until probably afew years ago id say on retail…
on a side note, i think it was a truce back in vanilla… alliance took SFGY horde took SHGY most games. or was it that alliiance let horde take SHGY and we took SFGY… either or it was something like that.
paladins are not nearly as game breaking as vanilla/classic shamans… many know paladins arent very strong after they bubble… trust me, i know… i played a paladin in vanilla to half way through cata…
4 of the 10 AV’s I was in today we ended up getting camped in our cave…the rest we were camped in the GY near our bridge from all sides…I’ve said this before, back in vanilla this never happened, we won 80-90% but now in classic we lose 99%…pock you blizzard…

Has it been mentioned that alliance summoning the tree doesnt even work? So IF by some rare chance alliance get the chance to summon nothing happens. So when I happen to be in an AV that won we had to do it with out the summon.
AV Horde is so easy mode. Their cave starting point is ridiculously OP…Just turtle at SHGY, summon Lok and win…

Your complaint is being cave farmed by 30 horde. I point out that you have a trinket which teleports you to your base, and you respond by insulting my guild tag.
Enjoy staying in the cave and being farmed. Heaven forbid you should lift a finger to do anything beyond the current meta of “let them win”.
How does being teleported into 20 horde and insta jibed before coming out of the loading screen help?
Also worth noting in as many avs as I’ve done I have yet to see a cave farm happen.
I’ve made it to ToF at the same time as horde many times. How? By not being an idiot. I didn’t stack up with the rest of the group on hills at SHGY or SHB. I actually kept riding. Interestingly, I made it to Snowfall around the same time as Horde many times, too.
40-30=10 actually, since the claim was that 30 horde were camping the cave. And where are the other 39 alliance at while the cave is being camped?
I haven’t either.
If all 40 horde are at the base or just outside of the base, you can either continue to attempt to break out south, or you can complain on the forum.
I think anyone complaining of being cave camped is to dumb to wait for 5 or 10 other ally to try break out.
There’s usually ~5-10 horde outside the cave picking of stragglers and the rest in FAstation/SP.
Point being the trinket doesn’t help because that’s where the majority of horde now are.
its not that alliance doesnt have trinkets, its the fact that horde are camping the recall spot and then we get sent back to the cave because there are no other grave yards to spawn at. also, you cant use trinkets unless you are outside of the cave, so if horde are camping the cave, players can not use the trinket.
