Mine was going great. I had 3x Death Strike generates 10% of your max life over the next 5 seconds, and 2x your auto attacks have a high chance to heal you for 5% max life. I was completely unkillable. And then I got to the final boss, which was Warden of Souls. Never seen him before. My experience, and evidently that of nearly every single person on the wowhead comments, is that he’s virtually impossible.

He spawns three adds which deal absolutely absurd damage to you, and spawn so frequently that focusing them doesn’t seem to be a viable option (they also spawn on top of pools of bad that the boss spawns). So you have to try and kite out of their range, since they won’t follow you. But they’ll continue attacking you while you run away, doing about 5k damage per second, in addition to the boss’s 7k auto attacks. Because of my disgusting healing anima powers, I managed to get him down to 20% three times, but finishing him off wasn’t in the cards.

That was layer 7. Curious if any Unholy DKs managed to take him down, cause he felt disgustingly overtuned.

Did it as frost and the only real good combo I got was Death Strike reduces the CD of Lichborne and Lichborne throws out death coils. I get that combo quite often though.

was in mort on layer 3 on last liffe. got while in dnd reduced damage to me by 20% DS attack n healing 125% DS Hot heal 10%. immume to pool of stuff that hurts you and heals you instead very useful.

heal shepherd that healed me by 75% when attacking an elite.

death gate horseman

health increase by 15%

FS did 1k more than base oblit

beat the last boss with only 10% remaining whew

One of the best ones I had was getting Icecap talent anima power while I already had a bunch of haste and crit from other anima powers. Switched to Obliteration and it felt like the glory days of 8.3 Icecap with corruption stacking. Pulled like 9k dps on the last boss of my layer. Was pretty fun.

Love those combos on my blood.

One time I had 3x 10 second reduced cd on my Lichborne per deathstrike

3x 50% more coil damage

Lichborne firing death coils obviously to make the whole thing work.

Whole thing was a breeze on 7 torghast

i got 3 +75% damage to frost strike and death coil with a ton of soul remnant boosts. my frost strike tooltip was like 6k before razorice lmfao

The only way I could beat him on my Blood DK was to focus him and ignore the adds.

Don’t know, had like 20 anima powers at one point. Health was at 88k by the end of run and was probably doing double my normal damage output. The activation of icebound fortitude with successful mind freeze casts and stuns from death and decay was really nice. Combine that with a frequently fearing MC’d collosal Rune Carver, I felt OP as heck.

Tried again last night. Got like 30 anima powers and absolutely obliterated him. I kept kiting to avoid as much add damage as possible and took him down in like 45 seconds.

yeah i got bloods bryndaor’s might last night off the last boss of layer 3

Dude

Imagine you have the Undertaker’s Crown with Monstrous Concoction…

… and every Death Strike you use reduces the CD of Lichborne by 30 seconds.

Suddenly, you have a 100% uptime on Lichborne, because the Crown is affected by RE.

Yes, that means it also affects you when you use your Lichborne.

My Torghast run just concluded with my Lichborne CDR raised to 40 seconds.

Poor Elder Longbranch got Palpatined by my Death Coil spams.

40 Second Lichborne CDR + Undertaker’s Crown + Monstrous Concoction = Unlimited Power.
