I guess we really can agree early access is kinda cringe

So, I got to lvl 71 and most of my friends can’t play, this isn’t very fun my dudes. I’ll rather continue supporting blizzard without getting a perk that divides the player base this way.

agreed. currently seeing my guild split into two camps; the haves and haven’ts.

it really sucks that the people who gave into blizzard’s b*llcrap are freely spoiling it for the people who have some integrity in how they spend their dollars.

No I love early access.

Let’s add to dividing the players, that those without early access basically have nothing to do until Monday, so might as well not play at all.

The pre-patch event XP has been nerfed from what I’ve read, Comp Stomp is now level 80 only and DF LFR is no longer available, so yeah, might as well just not login at all until Monday.

I am avoiding my guildies and staying out of discord for a few days

NO, it’s not cringe, you don’t speak for everyone.

Only suckers pay more for a product that is worth a fraction of the asking price to play a few extra days :joy:

So darn true.

You do know it was the same exact cost for the epic edition of TWW to get 3 extra days as it was for the epic edition of Dragonflight which didn’t give 3 extra days

I’m a solo player so im not leveling with anyone but seeing half the guild I’m in not have ea does kinda suck. Feel bad for em.

My friends can’t experience the cool new video game with me and that makes my playthrough feel incomplete. This is the first expansion launch ever where I’ve legitimately considered just logging off and not touching the game until later.

If only I could, without having the entire story spoiled for me by social media before the game is even officially released.

News stations have already divided America, so it can’t feel that different

Same applies. Anyone that paid more for that dragonflight atrocity is a sucker.

Well that’s cringe.

The very least they could do next time if they insist on early access is to not lock it behind the highest tier of pre-order. Just give it to all who pre-order, believe their are other games that do this. Isn’t just pre-ordering enough.

I agree with the OP wholeheartedly. It’s absurd that Blizz is charging players an extra $25 for what every other game includes in their standard preorder bonus. (FFXIV Dawntrail preorder included early access AND in-game bonuses with the standard edition for $10 less.) Love paying to preorder a game, and then basically not be able to play at all while half my guild is enjoying the new content. Like others have said, I also am essentially avoiding my guild’s discord right now, and I hate that. I hate missing out on my favorite part of a new expansion: leveling and gearing with my guildies because I didn’t want to pay an additional premium for what should have been included. I genuinely don’t know why I bothered preordering the game at all since apparently it means nothing now.

It makes me go hnnngh when you put it up there

FFXIV: Dawntrail gave early access to all players who pre-ordered. That sucked too but it wasn’t nearly as divisive as this has been. So long as you didn’t wait until the last second, you got to play alongside everyone in early access.

Especially when it comes to WoW and its competitive culture, giving players a headstart just for paying more than others is just… lame.

Exactly, they treated all who pre-ordered the same, Blizz prefers to segregate their players based on how much they are willing to pay.

Coming in Midnight, Heroic edition gives 3 days early access, Epic gives 7 days early access.

Another day another misuse of the word cringe. I love the internet but I really hate people will see a buzz word and use it wrong lol
