I kinda feel attacked because I still have to sit and recharge. I have not mastered dragon riding but I am having fun with it. Not everything is for everybody so having normal flying added would be nice. The only thing is I don’t to see threads from people whining about not being able to fly as fast as dragon riding. It is a trade off, with normal flying you get the ability to hover and have continuous flight; with dragon riding you get zoomies…and some kinda ugly mounts looks at weird chicken wing drake

Funny story for anyone reading.
When I got the quest to learn dragon riding, i hopped on my drake. Not the dragon riding one. The normal one,
Well… I hopped off and was really waiting for the thing to unfurl its wings and fly.
If you have eh recharge while flying perk… just rise as high as possible while facing up. Then level out and angle down slightly. You will see the blue wind around you. You should regen vigor enough so you will be full before you hit the ground (depending on terrain)

Yes, everyone who doesn’t like what you like must rulebreakers, concealing their motives behind what could possibly be very real issues with motion sickness. YOU’VE CLEARLY FIGURED IT ALL OUT.

With all the glyphs, i don’t run into any issues regarding vigor. Dragon Flying is tons of fun, when you are flying.
My issue with dragon flying is it can get pretty disorienting when you are flying and trying to locate something on the ground, you cant really stop in mid air so you are stuck doing circles.
In one sense, this is kinda cool because its similar to almost like a plane getting ready to land, but like i said it gets disorienting over time compared to regular flying where you can just hover and look at the ground.
I have two suggestions that would be awesome for dragon flying
- Let you hover temporarily, as in let your dragon fly in place but slowly it falls down so its not like actual flying and you cant just stay in the air forever. I just want my dragon to stop moving forward
-let it be an instant cast like druids flying! that would be awesome.
That’s not at all a reasonable analogy. And I think you believe this game is bigger than it actually is by 2022. But that’s marketing, I don’t blame ya
let’s see you do that and pick that herb you just flew over or under a few times…

I’m using it. I don’t care for it. It’s flight with more steps. If it went away tomorrow I wouldn’t miss it. Overall, meh.
I do find it funny that the “innovation” wow is getting praised for is just something jacked from another game.

If you have the glyphs, you should never be in this position.
User error. This isn’t the game’s fault.
This sounds super negative for no reason other than being bitter. If you took the time to be better at it and stopped missing cliffs and waiting for vigor, then you would be less bitter.

i mean then i would be aiming to touch the ground, which i run out of stamina all the time… but thats just the system, its not suppose to be flying when herb picking but vs flying it is so much faster for herb picking. They want you to engage with teh content, not fly over it
we’d all look like gnomes. haha

i know, it’s just a huge pain in the rump as one tries to gather mats for their professions.

That’s been WoW from day one though. Everything it’s ever done is take what other games did and do it better. That’s honestly been Blizzard’s MO in general since the 90’s.

I think I am not looking up high enough when I take off. I just jump to take off but I will try looking up first and then taking off.

'ave you leveled your dragon? It flies much faster than regular flight mount (even though you can’t just autorun in single direction)
And you also don’t need to wait for A YEAR to get flying in expansion for the first time since PANDARIA

Probably are a vast minority, but thats fine. Youre allowed to dislike what you dislike. No one has a right to tell you you cant.
If you have 6 renown youre probably doing it wrong.
I farmed ore for two hours and was empty on vigor ONCE.
You have to fire off a couple vigor using Skyward Ascent (neither surges), go up high so you can see the vapor trail and nose back down at the next node so youre nearly always charging in flight.
One skyward ascent to get off the ground, nose up, fire skyward ascent again, then bring your nose back down so you are gliding downward toward your target, making sure to keep the vapor trails on high. lol.
you’ll always be charging if you do that.
As far as spatial awareness, try Farmhud. You can keybind it so you can flip it off when you arent farming.
this will make it a lot easier to keep track of where nodes are in relation to you over using that minimap lol
