I truly dislike dragon flying. For me the purpose of flying is simply to get from point A to point B successfully and in the shortest time possible. Having to sit and recharge my dragon is a waste of time. Over shooting point B and falling off a cliff then waiting to recharge is even less fun. What I do think is fun is finding nodes so my crafters have something to work with. To be able to solo against a foe that’s higher than me and sometimes win or just explore.
I am so happy that you have mastered dragon flying. That you are able to fly clear across the map without stopping and can land on a dime. The only part I do enjoy is watching others trying to take off and failing or just using the dragon as a ground mount.

if you cant maintain dragon flying at maxed out talent tree you need to read the talents in the tree and learn how to self sustain. I can fly from 1 end of the dragon isles and back at ground level to mid height with out ever touching the ground.
Skill issue

I don’t really care that it brought the rush, rush mentality to world content. I would have been very happy that stay in mythic plus.

To each their own. I am finding it fun and rarely have to “sit and recharge.” But agree mileage will vary.

This game didn’t sell as well as SL, there are people who are dropping their sub this month, and there is dragonriding criticism and hate in these forums everyday. I doubt you’re the minority.
The minority is who is still playing this game. The majority has left by now.

Dragon flying is 3x as fast as normal flying so you’ll probably still be using it after they enable old flying mounts then.

What the heck did you just say to me. Boy I oughta wash that filthy keyboard out with soap and water cause it’s saying some filthy thangs.

It seems as though there is also a certain height you can reach where you pretty much just coast. If you haven’t unlocked all your talents take an hour or two to do that and you’ll find it far easier.

maybe herbie druids will use flying tho… dunno, herbing on mount is great and all, but thats where all your points go for keeping yourself up, lift off lol

Source? They don’t post any numbers until at least 2 weeks after the expansion launches.

The only people I’ve encountered in the wild that dislike dragonriding decided to dislike it before trying it. It’s a philosophical stance more than a substantive one.

If you’re sitting and recharging, you either don’t have the glyphs, or you’re doing it wrong, or both

That’s a good way to having to get a nice new expensive waterproof keyboard. I’m poor so I just wrap mine in saran wrap. Not because I I spill drinks, I’m not a child. Rather, I have an unhinged jaw and I tend to drool a lot when I am not paying attention. I wear a bib like a tie.

Well at least you didn’t smash your head against the corner of the bathroom wall and get a nasty concussion for a month. But damn that is pretty terrible and I’m sorry you have to deal with that.

After trying Dragonriding I really can’t go back to the normal 310 mounts.
Going from Dalaran (Legion) to Nighthold (Suramar) feels extremely slow right now.
I hope they extend Dragonriding to the rest of the zones in the future.

Dragon flying is literally 3-4x faster than regular flying…

A shame that your hatred is tainting your manners.
Enjoying others failing, just because you’re bitter, is very telling on your part, just a heads up.
The DR trolling threads are in abundance, gratz for making yet another one to dilute your message.

I guess it depends on if they have to code the rest of the zones for it for some reason. It might be that it works fine in every zone though for sure.
So basically skill issue.
