Those, that actually were my fault, were way more (in IronMan and HC alike) - but they are not the subject here. What I’m counting, and talking about here, are only those deaths caused by Blizzard, be it sudden DC’s, hyperspawns, glitches and such like. And those deaths number way more in my not even 8 months of official HC servers than in my previous 8+ years of Death = Delete on all Blizzard’s other servers (In percentages of course, not bare numbers).
Ultimately you could of course claim that they are all my fault for playing on an official server, not using the HC-addon, and playing Death = Delete
LOL. I have optic fibre, but that is of no help when the whole server crashes, or I suddenly change layers in the end of a well planned fight (yes, EU HC still has layers on one server), or all mobs hyperspawn because some level 40s decide to escort their Guildie through Wetlands, or when my FP-mount decides that today is the day to drop me from the heights over some high level zone, or fly through, not over Ironforge … continue this list with examples from these forums.
I wouldn’t bother replying to that poster. He seems to be auditioning for mainstream media by showing off his speculative and gaslighting skills.
Personally, I’d give him a 2/10 and that’s being really nice.
ahaha they seemed mad to me
like maybe about that house that fell on their sister (and they weren’t fast enough to grab those ruby slippers) #flyingmonkeys
Sorry to Opie about losing your character.
DC happens. If you reconsider and decide to go agane, good luck and have fun.
I generally try to avoid aggroing stuff even when it’s much lower level and I can 1-shot the mobs. Just too annoying getting dazed from a lucky hit on a random mob and being dismounted. Gotta love when the level 30 mob dismounts your 60 and you now have to waste 4.5 second to kill and remount lol
He meant “out of the blue”. I’m tired with this game not being fixed, and random things that kill you just shouldn’t happen, given that all spells available to you to be able to counteract such random mobs are available and possible within the given time frame of death. It’s time we stood up to this crap! #gamersunite
The OPs complaint was not that they aggroed mobs and because of that they died (that would be dumb to blame on the game) what they are saying is that after they vanished and the mobs reset they then randomly re-engaged.
This is not really sufficient information to determine if it was indeed a bug that killed them or they did something stupid like dropping stealth or was too close to the spot the mobs ran to but just wanting to point this out.
