Ya I saw some someone who posted 300 linen cloth in single stacks. AH addons make doing this too easy.
Pretty much best solution is to get an AH addon yourself, I recommend auctionator its simple lightweight and lets you scan the AH to see lowest prices regardless of stack size.
Ita kinda annoying, but it really kinda is a you have to join them.
I know they made a change in retail to combat people doing this but I doubt they could do that to classic without massive backlash.

yes, I do agree. The question is if the people are using the add on or not. The add on can list all your auctions and set prices at once. It intuitively remembers. It can unlist and relist. It can automatically undercut. The average user without the add on cannot do all of this.
If you feel the addon is bad, I would rethink your post that you keep quoting in here.
All reading that has done is make me want to get the addon too.

There is an addon called TradeSkillMaster that has a feature called Sniper. Basically you run it while sitting at the AH, and it constantly checks for new auctions that meet certain criteria. If an item is posted that meets those criteria, it will appear in the sniper window and you can buy it with a single click. This is not botting or cheating.

this, to some people farming BiS is their favorite part of game, to others PvP or PvE raiding is their favorite, to others just exploring casually is their favorite thing, and to some, farming gold/playing mmo economics is the most interesting part of the game.
People need to just accept its 2019 and wow addons are going to change wow classic. there are infinitely more people able and interested in making addons and they are not going to/have not ruined the game. auctioneer/auctionator type addons have existed since vanilla and are nothing new and many of their features ended up implemented officially in the game itself.
It’s extremely obnoxious to normal players.
