Seriously. It felt very nice to just walk around and just discover things. It felt alive and I want to live there when housing comes out.
Also i love that builds have doors. Could use more on a lot of buildings but the fact that most areas really like to be open barns in other cities all the time.
I’ve been a druid forever, and sadly, goblin is just not an option. But I’m changing it up and going to dps for the first time in awhile! So goblin it is!
Although I love goblins (I have two! No, now three!)
They have been ever present in some form or another since Cata. For this I have a love/hate feeling towards them— their antics are lovable but a lot of what they do is negative for the environment, so their areas are always littered with tech, scraps, etc.
I love nature so that kind of put me at odds with their culture, but it’s a fantasy game so I moved past that. I was concerned goblins couldn’t carry an entire patch and I’d get sick of the whole aesthetic. And time will tell I suppose, but I’m loving it so far.
I did my first play through on my goblin rogue and it was a blast. Glad that their cosmetic sets for each armor type are pretty freakin good, and come in a variety of colors. I want them all. I want to mix and match the yellow and the purple.
There are two things I know to be true… that life is to be savored, but also time is money.
Hence why Gazlowe wants to change things. Remember this is how it’s always been for um, no one was or could be a good example for um due to goody two-shoes gettin tossed in a sewer or somethin.
While he don’t know it Gazlowe is gonna start helpin us change things for the better (if blizz keeps going with this story). So i got hope maybe they will find a better way like Noggenfogger did in that mine. (If you read the short story)
As someone who has always disliked the goblins, it’s a good zone. Shame some people can’t get over the first hurdle of recognizing good in things they dislike.
Yes, which I like, and I remember in Siren Isle you can talk to a goblin who is tidying up and ask him why, since it’s so uncharacteristic of a goblin, and he’s like “I like it clean!” And I was like, “wow, thank you, a goblin character who shows that goblins aren’t just a monolith”
Hive mind would also be appropriate but I was loosely using this definition:
a large and impersonal political, corporate, or social structure regarded as intractably indivisible and uniform.
In any case, it shows that an individual in a particular faction or culture or race or what have you, has the autonomy to be different than the norm. A lot of times people view a race or class as something very specific and cannot endeavor to think outside the box. This says to me that it can happen, which I like.
I feel like Cruella de Vil from the old school 101 Dalmatians cartoon when she’s driving crazy at the end. That’s how I picture my goblin driving around the Undermine.
Well, it’s all pretty subjective. I don’t think it’s helpful for me to pick out a good thing if I think the overall experience is bad.
For example, I don’t mind the drive thing, but I don’t find driving around a landfill super compelling and because I dislike the aesthetic, it lessens the overall experience.
