Besides the one in Winterspring, the rest aren’t that hard anymore with trap launcher, traps in combat, kill shot, and chimera shot. Their are guides that even cheese the some of the fights to make it easy. Although somethings have advanced and changed completely in SoD vs Classic, this quest is nice and doesn’t need to go. Trust that once its completed, you feel really good and accomplished.

nah dont really feel like sitting around waiting for three other hunters to try complete it for hours. Sounds terrible, they already wasted everyones time with the tier .05 quest.

Just going to say retail is that away if you want free gear. Understandable I know this isn’t classic, but there are major aspects still and this is one of them. If you can’t do it, maybe you should also roll another toon.
Oh yeah, clearing the raid isn’t enough now I got to go fight people for hours for demon spawns. What a great idea.

Come on, there can’t be THAT many Hunters trying to kill the demons at the same time. This isn’t a very common quest for one single class in the game. They already gave the Demons a 15-min respawn and they are a piece of cake with Trap Launcher + Chimera.
The only thing I wouldn’t mind seeing is making them unattackable by non-Hunters, kind of like the new Core Hound spawn can’t be killed by non-Hunters.

The one in Winterspring isn’t hard either. Just clear out a path a kite/slow down the road. Freeze or scare beast if you get extra mobs. He takes extra damage from Serpent Sting which is buffed by that nature damage trinket from DFC.

15min respawn is nice so the issue is they just don’t want to do the fun part.
this quest was already disappointingly simple and nerfed into kindergarten

The respawn time was reduced to like 15 minutes. It’s a bit of a wait if there are multiple hunters trying to do it at peak hours but overall it’s much better.
Yeah so lovely when someone attacks the mob you’ve been waiting 15 mins to spawn then you finally get it free to yourself and die due to adds. Then you get back there and have to wait another 15 minutes oh wait in that time another hunter showed up. Better hope you one shot the wspring one because there’s always people there trying to do it.

The respawn used to be HOURS.
I had a hunter alt in era and heard a lot about this quest.
Got the stuff and went to go do it, I 1 shot everything but the Winterspring part because I didn’t pre clear enough.
It was simple then I can’t imagine how easy it is in sod.
I killed the demons in about 1-3 min each its so easy anyone can do it.
Winter spring is the only tricky one, and if you kite like normal you have more than enough mana… rest are 15 second fights. I did it for both hunters in my guild… literally simple honestly. 2 attempts on winter spring because I kited a bit far and respawned him.
I was irritated by this too but I thought ahead and figured almost every hunter would probably be done by Tuesday morning. I went out there about 6 server time and there wasn’t another hunter for miles. I just did the pretty simple freezing trap launcher cheese. Just be careful to take your time and watch your back for mobs. There is no diminishing returns on the freezing trap. Use only chimera shot. Do not DoT him. Freeze the demon and wait til you can launch another freezing trap. Back off until you are just out of range with the 3 points in more range talent and launch the trap. Then move forward like a yard and fire one or two chimera shots depending if lock and load is still active and click off the target immediately so you don’t accidentally auto shot him after he triggers the next freezing trap repeat until dead. It took me til the fourth attempt because I kept accidentally auto shotting him or a mob reapawned. But it was super easy. Only thing I need now is the stupid Black Sinew. 5 Onyxia with it HR for me by the guild in case we need to pug other hunters and zero drops. Like how the hell. Thought the drop rate was 50%. 
My guildie was doing it he said there was 4 hunters waiting on the same demon. 15min respawn lets say they were kind and went in order of who was first thats a hour for the last guy. Its a 33% drop rate item, and the other missing items are common drops as well. So theres def a lot of ppl
It was definitely an issue before the last reset when they basically changed the demons to respawn instantly after they are killed or despawn.
A lot of people were waiting around to do them because one person was failing over and over. The best method if you aren’t skilled at kiting is to cheese them with freezing trap or ask another hunter to kill it for ya.
