I got it down to 4 now!

I’ve found that I prefer to play classes that can invis, or have stealth capabilities. So it’s down to 4 classes for me.

Not in any particular order:

Druid
Rogue
Hunter
Mage

One other honorable mention, although cannot invis/stealth is Demon Hunter. I like the simplicity of the class and the glide ability.

If you have the same experience as me as far as liking these classes, which would you choose as your main and why?

Thanks!

Or play any class and carry a stack of invisibility potions with you at all times

I actually liked playing a warlock until I realized that I couldn’t stealth or invis.

you should honestly just play what you have the most fun with

Locks are awesome, we have our own personal tank, healthstones, soulstones, gateways, demonic portals etc etc. Also they’re great for old content where you could get cc’d or teleported some place else, your corruption dot will still keep ticking and often get you out of trouble.

I try to. But sometimes I get caught up in the whole ‘flavor of the month’ class and get spec envy. I also found that when I play a class I really like, I will often be told that I’m not playing the class right and I should be doing this or that to maximize my dps or whatever. Sometimes, if I don’t do exactly as I’m told on how to play my class, I’d get kicked out of a group or dungeon/raid. So, I do try to play the one I have the most fun with but keep getting shot down because I’m not ‘playing it right’.

My favorite thing to witness with new Rogues are the people that think stealth is actually invisibility, run through a pack of mobs, and get completely wiped out lol.

Or enter a certain part of a zone and stealth just falls off for no reason.

Grats! I’ve found I enjoy and perform best on low APM (actions per minute) specs if that’s something you would want to look into for yourself. Arms, destro, ele, MM.

Had it forever but since Covid people have been spitting on me (until it was removed) and abusing me as if i made the character because of Covid :disappointed_relieved:

as a hunter i can tell you that camouflage (our steath) isnt worth it. theres a better talent to get (the “more hp on use”) and camouflage buggy (still… after so many years askin blizz o fix it), mostly that mobs will randomly see you or/and your pet(s). theres like 1 or 2 times its usefull, but with an invis pot or a rouges shroud around it makes camouflage even more worthless

if you wanna stealth, go rouge

It doesn’t matter what the question is.

Then answer is always druid.

your “personal tank” is a wet paper towel now. vw used to kick butt and be able to… well… tank!

if you wanna tank, go a tank spec, if you want a mob to take your hits stay lock or go hunter

That’s being a tad hyperbolic, it isn’t as good as it once was but it’s still very decent and enables you to solo things that a lot of other classes can’t.

I went and checked the prices of invisible potions and they are insane! 5 to 7k for a 15(?) sec invisible? It also seems to not work for most people over level 50?

Thats the wrong potion youre looking for Potion of the Hidden Spirit
