Last time I built a computer was 25’ish years ago. I don’t know jack about them anymore.
I need an Intel based super computer. A 100% gaming rig. I need everything but the video card. Got a 3080 just a waiting.
No need for capture cards or the like.

I don’t know why you need intel when AMD is much better especially for gaming. You get much more bang for your buck with them too especially when it comes to motherboards
comes out next month and is just a small taste of what next generation will be like which comes out in second half of 2022
you’re better off waiting either this or next generation in fall/winter 2022
100% agree. I would wait for Zen 4 or Raptor Lake and go with which ever is better.
If you absolutely have to do your build now wait a few weeks for the release of the 5800x 3D.
I would be upgrading to that chip myself if I wasn’t already on the 5900x which I’m very happy with. I am not up fan really of either side I just go with whoever makes the better product and right now that is hands-down AMD.
