I love WoW. For the first time since 2004, I think I’m done. Shadowlands is horrific. This is the worst launch and worst expansion I have ever endured. Yeah, I said it.
The final straw was this week of reset. Ulduar is busted and broken on the scaling, Timewalking was giving out 38 ilvl gear and it felt like doing Mythic + Fortified, PvP is busted, this week’s main story was yet another week of an easy quest with no real story development and a “come back next week” vibe. Timegating is killing this expansion and it seems like literally nothing was tested prior to the launch.
What are you doing Blizzard? I’ve seriously never wanted to abandon this game since its launch but I need to step away. Maybe I’ll come back before Tuesday to do my weekly stuff, we’ll see. I really want this game to succeed and be fun but I’m not enjoying the game anymore. Shadowlands is the first expansion that has ever made me feel this way. I sincerely hope Riot’s new MMO is somewhat decent so there’s competition, maybe only then will Blizzard give a crap.
Ion’s responses to interviews is a clear view of how much Blizzard cares right now. Old raids are broken? Working as intended and it’ll probably work itself out. That’s literally what he said. Not kidding. Have fun everyone, no you can’t have my gold, it’s the only reason I even bought another month.
That sucks, perhaps come back later when everything has been adjusted a bit and the game play is more to your liking. Take a break, enjoy life, try some different games, etc.
So, it’s good only for players who do max difficulty end game. Got it. The rest of us (who prefer all the other stuff WoW used to be good at) might as well go ahead and quit. Blizzard doesn’t need our sub money for anything anyway, right?
Is that an argument? Also what do you mean max difficulty you can do normal raids random bgs world quests brawls timewalking so what are you on about? What has changed to remove you content because im not seeing it. Im not hardcore at all and I find your post similar to an old guild master who hated seeing wod end because Garrisons were perfect for them. A $15 phone game.
It’s really trash. I’ve never seen this game in such a buggy broken unfinished state after over 10 years of playing. It’s sad. Just sad. How the might always fall… and this game has certainly fell to standards that I would’ve never dreamed Blizzard of old would settle for.
Shadowlands is trash. Shiny and new and pretty on the surface, but when you realize how buggy and unfinished 80% of the content is, it becomes apparent that it’s nothing more than a steaming pile of shiny trash rushed out for the sole purpose of maximum profits, customer satisfaction be dammed

so, someone who’s played for over half a dozen expansions dislikes the way the new expansion is, and that’s not a valid opinion? No way they have a point, just ‘don’t like it get out?’
Every time i think there’s hope, people are basically decent, not pricks just for the fun of it, people like yourself remind me I am wrong.
IDK about Blizzard but Activision is making moolah. Have you seen ATVI’s stock price lately? Funny how the worse companies get the higher in value their stocks become.
