His argument seemed quite clear. Removing the resistance to making a change for needed issues introduces a flood of other justifiable changes for needed issues. That IS the casual link. He gave the standard NoChamges position, wouldnt it be pedantic to insist he articulate the implied detail?
He didn’t establish any causal link between why one change inevitably leads to more changes.

I bet if Blizzard made Seal of Justice taunt every 30 seconds and prevents enemy from running away I bet nobody would notice. After all it’s function is to prevent them from running away so maybe it would force them to keep attacking as well.

But yeah sadly there’s people convinced that giving some classes some basic utility like a taunt or an out of combat rez will somehow break the fabric of space and time, so doubtful it will happen.
kinda funny to see that there’s people on here that think paladins can’t tank while leveling.
As well as druids.
What I would like to see in classic is a bit of a revamp of classes for a different line of progression. Let Paladins AND Shamans tank. Give more utility to classes that are lacking it, and more options to use the talents that are there but are underutilized or something.

Please do better research before playing that build and maybe theory craft your talents. Hybrids not suppose to be easy if u stray from healing.

Paladin tanks are actually easier to level as then prot warrior. I also feel they are easier fo tank on atleast at low levels. By level 34 you can have both improved righteous fury and consecration.
Use judgement it works quite often.
Theyve been down that road where everyone has utlity and everyone has this or that. It doesnt end well.
I still think that whomever is the tank, you just attack what he is attacking. If you know a certain class has a lack of agro then make sure you do not steal what he has. Target of target is a good thing. Sometimes the AOE is not optimal and you must work as a group, but it works if you work as a group. Comprende?
This is Classic, not Classic+. It was always advertised as Vanilla reborn, AKA Classic. It was never advertised as Classic plusotherthingspeoplemightwantdowntheline.

The thing about making Enhance shammies able to tank is that you’d inherently be pissing off alot of shamans that want their enhance shamans to be DPS like they were in TBC/WOTLK. And in order to make enhancement shammies able to tank, you’d most probably need to put heavier focus in that tree on survivability than TBC/WOTLK era dps talents.
as one said they have already been down this road before if you buff the hybrids they will push the pures aside so you buff them then the hybrids will be sidelined again. here’s the thing hybrids do have a role and they are taken for the roll they fill so there is no reason to buff them just because some people want to play the class like it plays in retail.
Things were fine in TBC and WOTLK without hybrids Stealing pure’s jobs, and were brought for their own unique abilities. Just because things degenerated in later expansions doesn’t mean that its a “This WILL happen if you do X” kind of thing.

that’s kinda what i’m saying they fill a role they shouldn’t be changed fill a pure’s slot just because in retail they can. that’s what the people pushing for changes to hybrids want they want them to be able to be used in a pure role thus giving them more chances to be taken to things.
