Plus, just casually rolling 12 Tyrants in the Jailer’s Gauntlet is very entertaining.

Venthyr warlock with the venth leggo, even post nerf is incredibly strong in keys when used correctly and consistently large pulls are being done.
I’ve have a combo of hitting Quantum, Dark Soul, Blood Fury, Int Pot, then casting a singular Impending Catastrophe hit for about 1.8 mil.
Yea but, isn’t that kind of impractical?
I doubt having an ability requiring many targets to be strong doesn’t constitute to be a good ability. But do enlighten me more of how to effectively use it.
That being said, the humor was that the fact that you can summon extra demons using Impending Catastrophe what makes Venthyr Warlocks pretty fun in Torghast.
It isn’t something that is widely used nor should it be, as it is kinda niche. That said, within that niche, it is one of the best abilities in the game. Running that leggo into something like a Fort Necrotic Wake key, especially if there’s a good DK in the group will completely trivialize some pulls.
You can quad pull the very first pull, pop lust, let the lock rip IC, and if everything is stacked enough, they’ll melt the pack and finish at 80-130k dps. Normally in NW, it’s also common to pull 2-4 packs into the first boss as well. Another IC hitting 20+ mobs will also do a ridiculous amount of damage and when you add the extra utility of mass smart cursing, it’s better than people give it credit for.
If you look at SL S2 Destro keys at a 25+ key level, you’ll see the Venthyr leggo come up in a lot of keys.

That strong huh? Even Rextroy showcased the ridiculous scaling behind it by pulling a lot of mobs beforehand.
Even with the nerf: if you say that it still has a potential to be a strong ability in keys, then maybe I underestimated the peak application of this ability.
If I ever go Destro and ever get double leggo if interested, then I’ll give this a try.
I honestly thought you were referring to the extra teleport for ZM.
