Found this little girl meowing for help in a tree last night.
I took her home to care for her and check her for any problems, and she seems healthy from what i can tell. I plan on taking her to the vet as soon as can though, just to be sure.
I expected her to be skittish, but she’s quite the opposite actually. She’s very sweet and playful, and enjoys annoying my other cat whom thankfully doesn’t seem to mind her too much.
I’ve decided to name her Jellybean, after my favorite candy.
We have 4 cats; Black male named Stitch (he’s a space alien), female calico Chromie, male white/black floof Flynn, and our orange tabby male named Anduin
Anyone that takes in animals like this, immediately gain the hero status in my mind. Thank you Hella, for making the world better. (Assuming yer a good pet owner, ofc. )
I have adopted two strays that showed up at my place, tiny and malnourished. Now they are quite big. I got them fixed and their shots. Butters and Sassy is their names.
His name is Toby, he’s a indoor / outdoor cat. Last week I saw him climb a tree and knock a bird out of its nest. He’s pretty fat, but it’s not the food i’m giving him he’s getting fat off of.
Keep an eye for posts about missing kitties. maybe the little one got out unnoticed. if she’s not skittish, then she may possibly have had a home before. most kittens born wild with little human interaction will be skittish.
my aunts cat was four months old when she got her, and to this day (eight year later) she is still skittish and distrustful of most people. she hides when ever new people are over. we don’t know what her story was before my aunt got her from the shelter, but I strongly suspect her of being born feral, and thats never really left her. she seeks us out for treats, food, and the occasion attention, but any one else tries to approach her its a hiss and a scratch or bite then run away. heck, she goes after me on the reg (though that could be because i smell like the dog, who i spend more time with).
if you don’t see any missing kitty posts, grats on your new cutie! she’s adorable.
