Yes. My middle daughter did for a short while. She tried back again last year at 23 but didn’t have the time anymore.
Lol I cant play when I’m watching them! The 10 month old puts everything in his mouth and the 2 yr old…he’s 2 so blinking is dangerous!
So once again just focus on them instead of whining about the game not being made for people like you who are busy with actual important things?
Unless your divorce is due from cheating, your priorities is family first.
You should ask Mr Tom Brady why he can’t give up football and threw his marriage away cause he wants to keep playing
And the dude couldn’t even get the buccaneers to the Superbowl
Thanks brother for the advice, i appreciate it
My kid started playing in Wrath at 8 and never played with me. She made her own friends and wanted nothing to do with me.
Unless she needed me to kill something for her but once she got a boyfriend that also played then I didn’t even have that.
Letting your 8 year old interact with and make friends with ADULT STRANGERS on a MMO is really terrible parenting. Good god what is wrong with you? I am glad you’re not my parent.
I hope this isn’t a serious post

it’s definitely not the same game that it used to be. leveling, which was THE game, is removed, and with it exploring and world pvp gone, too. A huge aspect of fun was taken out in favor of collecting gear to idle in and raid logging. If you aren’t into collecting at end game, then there’s really not much to do. I used to like getting gear to make me better out in the world, but there’s only about 4 people who flag themselves for PvP, so there’s no point in that anymore.
Thank sweet Baby Jesus!
It’s also been a little while since we burned something down ![]()
That breaks my heart… I hope having all boys is different
And having zero personal time for hobbies or self-expression is how you get divorces.
ROFL it wasn’t a big deal. I thought it was funny.
I’m just here to let you know that I am not gonna read this paragraph.
Having a marriage of 24 years and raising 3 strong independent women was done with lots of WoW time in between and now i get to be a grandfather and also play wow. Everyone has to have an outlet when raising a family that is all about themselves. Personal time and personal growth has to happen even when you have a family.
No, it’s not. Not even for a Panda baby. At first I just thought that this is how an mmo works: changing everything every expansion. Never played an mmo before at the age of 52 when I started. Only branched out to FF when SL slapped me in the face and woke me up to try something else. Any other mmo has it’s detractors too. So …
I can tell you’re sad about it all, and that’s okay. You’ve got your reasons. Hopefully the next few months give you back that spark.
^^^^Say it louder!
Take a break from the game for a while and try other hobbies (maybe ones you can get your kids involved in too). This game will still be here if you want to come back later.
I have a 13, 7, and a 2 year old. All girls. All very different, and I’m just here hoping they all end up strong and independent ![]()
The younger two are definitely on that track, and the older one is… moody
You’re not racing my man. Sure infusions take many mythics. They should. So you will take two weeks to get yours rather than one week. So what?
Do you actually like playing when you do play? If no, then maybe a break is good.
I was also here in day one at age 13, watching my older brother raid. Loot did not rain from the sky. You got blue dungeon gear and then you were done unless you did high end PvP or raid.
Now, you can set your own goal. I know I will not do any 20s by the end of this season. Too much RL stuff to do. But I think I can reasonably push to 15s. That is a goal I can set and I can do.
You have a few hours a day to play, that’s more than enough time. How picky are you being when you make groups? If you expect people to just accept you, you should also be willing to take others along knowing it won’t always go well.
I dunno at 393, as a non meta class, I’m still getting invites. Personal anecdote I know, but still.
Might be good just to breathe and remember that you don’t have to be maxed out already.
