I’m curious, do you have children? Nothing wrong either way. I’m simply wondering
Honestly I’m not sure but I know for sure I’m burned out.
Your life circumstances has changed and there’s only so long you can play something until it starts to become the same old. Especially now that you have limited time to game.
Some ideas I can think of is perhaps playing games with your family. There are some nice family friendly co-op games out there. If not, just play super casually. But I feel like you’d be better off exploring a new game.
Those 6 hours, if not, 4 should be you spending time with your son’s, to be a father figure
Or time to treat your wife something nice
Once again this ranting you’re doing about this game is absolutely the last thing you have to worry, you should be more focused on making sure your marriage doesn’t go sour
Cause one day your 6 hours of WoW is gonna piss her off
Seeing marriage and parental advice on a game’s forum makes this sound like 4Chan or old Reddit lol
Buddy, if you think every spare moment of a person’s life should be spent with their family once they have one, you are the last person that should be giving marital advice to anyone lol
I learned along time ago that I would rather eat dirt than talk about parenting on this forum.
The opinions I’ve read over the years are just… I can’t come up with a strong enough word for “horrid.”
We’ve been married for 7 years. I can understand that you dont think its possible but my wife is truly the chosen one. And Im raising my boys to be men. She works days, I work nights, Im the one at home the most.
I find myself saying I hate that paragraph.
Maybe you should focus more on your family than a video game, idk just saying. If you’re not having fun do you really need all this? Can’t you just quit and move on until you feel like playing again, if even you do? It isn’t a big deal if someone plays or not. Why does everyone act like they’re writing their own funeral eulogy every time they aren’t having fun?
You can leave. No ones holding you here.
LOL my youngest was < 1 when I started playing and is about to be 19. Yeah, i’m feeling the same way
Nooo Sumwun is hilarious. He always adds humor to a thread.
Very true! On the same foot, I can stay and nobody can make me leave if I don’t break any rules.
Damn, did they ever play with you? I feel like that might revive it for me, But theyre still a bit little lol
And that’s being gentle lol
What if we break some Alliance backs? ![]()
Oooo look, a lonely elf ![]()
Idk man if you’re spending 6 hrs on a game instead o f with your family while simultaneously trying to tout that you’re “teaching your boys to be men”, idk… If I were a kid seeing my dad mald over a video game for 6 hrs on days we could be having family time with both parents… I’d be pretty bitter, NGL.
You had me at … well… pretty much the whole quote, really!
Playing a social MMO with a generally toxic and adult player base with your minor children is probably not the best use of your quality time.
This level of game play is not made for the type of person that gets 6 hours 1 day a week. Expecting more is not going to happen. Vault / Valor is how you will get over that hill.
