After picking sham back up ive found enhance really unenjoyable. This spec has always had short cds on many attacks but it just didnt feel so “bound.”
So much of our damage is in stromstrike, which is fine i guess, but only being able to use it if you get stormbringer procs, which are out of the players control, really makes it feel like a rough and disjointed spec.
Last time i really played enhance would have been in late MoP, which I remember was so fun.
its not fun to play thats why i shelved mine everything in on a gdc and has a recharge timer and cd.its not a fun way to play a class.
hopefully when they lvl squish there will be alot of pruning and changing of abilities.it ias much needed for enhancement.
Did you reach 120? Most specs are slow while leveling nowadays.
My enhance shaman is pretty much gcd capped with an interesting fast paced rotation
I personally don’t necessarily hate Enhancement as it currently is. I have found that I much prefer Elemental now, however. I personally feel like they need to be a bit more resilient. It’s part of the reason I’ve drifted away.
Yeah. Hes 392. So not great but enough to get a decent idea.
He got two good peices with primal primer tonight. Tomorow ill sim it out and put that set together. Maybe ill like that more. Ive heard its a bit more consistent since more weight is placed into LL.
I personally like storm strike more than LL but I run the primer build because that’s what does the most damage and more consistent. Some people would be like then just run the SS build but why would you willingly gimp your self? Id rather suffer thru a terrible build and have a spot on my mythic raiding team then sit on a bench, but that is just me.
Dude I keep seeing posts like this and I don’t get it lol. I switched back to sham(enhance) for the first time since MoP for BFA and I am loving every second of it.
I’ve consistently played shaman throughout most of WoW, swapping between enh and ele as the wind blows - but I haven’t been able to play enh since BFA launched. It’s just miserable. It lost so much power with the removal of our artifact weps, and it just feels bad to play. Yeah you’re GCD locked…but just because you’re pressing 8 different buttons in a “rotation” doesn’t mean it’s enjoyable. Just feels like blizz doesn’t know what to do with shamans atm. Hell, even though ele is in a Good spot, our entire relevancy teeters on blizzards’ good will towards Igneous Potential (despite it being 100% against what their design philosophy apparently was towards azerite traits)
hopefully we get some love in 8.2 i guess.
I remember Enhance Shamans were gods in the good ole days. They are a joke now… esp in pvp.
Try Primal Primer
Now that i have three PP traits I’ve been trying that out. It definitely feels a lot better to play knowing that LL isnt totally junk. Keeping up ft and fb doesnt seem as annoying as I expected.
The single target damage is good. My aoe has really suffered vs stormstrike build tho.
