I did it, I got through the looking glass, my stubborn nature finally persevered. I have to say SW is WORSE than orgrimmar for the sole reason of the trash just trucks so much harder. I struggled with oldtown for so long due to the trash until I found the right cadence of CD usage to blast through all the stupid debuffs and interrupts. Magister is just a pure B.S. boss as well, his casts are too frequent if you cannot blast him quickly.
I am so glad I have to never look at these again.

Alleria is worse, way WAY worse than Thrall can ever be.
With Thrall you just CC, interrupt and kill the boars while slow killing Thrall until all boars are dead and the rest of history.
With Alleria you need to hide from the main cast, kick the bombs away when they spawn in the middle, aim away from the eye at all times, hope you don’t drop under 50% sanity and have an add to deal with, avoid the purple sanity eating rain, it’s a lot.
Honestly she wasn’t as bad as thrall, I feel like as a caster I struggled with thrall more just due to how his mechanics work, in comparison to alleria where I could just kite around the room no issue the entire time and blast her face in. When I killed thrall I had to use two orbs, and it took longer to down him. With alleria, I didn’t have to use any orbs and downed her in half the time.
grats. i aint got the patience for that, im just getting my sweet motorcycle and maybe farming for the void edge illusion, but thats about it

Honestly I’ve read a few stories with Delves where people ran with tank Soridormi because she takes all the brunt of the enemies, and even though people go on about how “She is useless because she doesn’t double your DPS, but doubles the enemies health”, she takes the sanity drain from the enemies and that lets you stop and cast without having to move too much.

Still couldn’t beat it after Alleria somehow drained 1500 sanity while I was behind a pillar.
Only way I found around it as a melee was abusing the Gift of titans. Using it to zerg the elite mini in Mage quarter and somehow getting it from a void spawn during boss fight. Otherwise the Mage quarter mechanics, even if taken slow, are abusive as hell and require revive/2 orbs. The mage somehow gets 3 spell casts, even if 1 is interrupted and other reflected.
Even after baiting the disorient, most elite fights will trigger another which will cage you into a sanity drain.
Taking it slow mob wise doesn’t seem as much of a necessity, as taking it slow and abusing path of the titans.
Hogger is more intimidating than Gamon, but you can normally pop a dmg reduction as he spawns.
Also to note, using an orb during Alleria fight seems not possible, even if hiding. Pre-popping an orb might work, but the time to cast orb will get you CCed to oblivion.
