It is the PvP community. I keep quitting and coming back when I have nothing else to do. So I focus on PvP and try and have fun. This isn’t a hard game most people will agree. The dumbest of the dumb, you find them in PvP in this game. So much simple concepts in PvP and people can not grasp it. People queue and hide from PvP. I mean like solo healer rushed the flag and wants to run it back… I have pet peeves against healers I could name crap about them all day long honestly. Just amazing to me how old this game is and people say “I been playing since vanilla”… yet you don’t understand the concept of win team fight and control the map? You believe in zerg across the map, stop at tunnel and turn around and look at middle? Watching healers sit bases even when a dps is there ignoring the team fights.
Want to enjoy this game, get away from stupid, go do PvE.
PvE isn’t any better. You have people who can’t even do LFR.
LFR can be facerolled while comatose and still people will wipe dozens of times on a single boss, not to mention the wipes on trash because the hunter backpedaled into a patrolling mob pack.
Remember in MoP, or was it WoD, where you needed to pass the Proving Grounds in order to queue heroics? People actually failed at that. The game literally held your hand and told you what to do in order to move foward, and people still failed. In fact, so many people failed so horribly at it that it was the biggest complaint in General Discussion during that time period. Though, a fair bit of the complaints were from people who could easily pass it but were just annoyed at having to do so in the first place.
both have idiots, but in PvE you can carry the idiots a lot easier. Very easy for someone to ruin the BG, but you can overlook someone getting themselves killed in a raid and still down the boss.
Did you hear about lfr nzoth? Lol trust me pve is much worse and no easier to carry. So few people PvP these days there are more smart ones left trust me. The amount of backpedaling still happening in bgs is appalling. Still, every time I pug a m+ key I am comforted by the fact pvpers are still 100X better.
I don’t know what groups you are running. I don’t do LFR. I just do Normal and Heroic. I still get the bosses down. I have had zero problems doing Mythic +. But in BGs, constantly trying to figure out why people are doing the dumbest things. Like legit last night, had a healer sit a base with me and ignored opening team fight. Same game, the Rdruid on their team is trying to ninja cap on me ignoring the team fight. I mean it is like you have 2 healers. You are that dumb to leave the team fight and let your team lose to come and try and ninja a node? All that will happen is you are going to get zerged after your team is wiped.
Maybe your friend’s cat pee’d all over your furniture. Maybe you found out by your failed efforts to clean, that cat pee never goes away. Maybe this enrages you.
Then you made the connection that if not for your friend who likes cats, this would not be a problem in your life. Your friend is people, so 'eff people.
Then why are you comparing it to the lfr of PvP? Seriously though, Google lfr nzoth.
If you’re doing normal/heroic raiding you’ll still see an astonishing amount of backpedaling, keyboard turning and clicking. Try getting over 1600 rbg rating doing that. There are still way worse players in pve, it’s just more forgiving.
As fellshout said, “every pvp game is like this fyi”. People will always complain about communities and call it toxic, etc. I say get over it. Perhaps bail on games you know your team is going to let you down and go focus on something else.
This I can agree with. Not much in pvp more frustrating than seeing your team all over the place and avoiding the enemy to do an objective while the enemy focuses on controlling key terrain and picking off who they can. You need to fight it out for control and win teamfights so you gain momentum.
Thing is you are trying to compare two different things. I do raid and bosses get down a lot more often. They are good runs. VAST majority are good runs. People understand what they have to do. In PvP, they are just idiots.
Don’t even try and say you don’t see people avoiding PvP entirely when they que. Both teams just running by each other because they are scared to engage. People seeing they might be out numbered at a node so turn and run and go for something pointless.
Good example was the other day. SSM we took mid and lava was maybe at 1/4 of the way there. Alliance controlled it, top JUST spawned. Team decided we needed top because alliance was guarding lava… Then 3 people decided to get the new mid. Yeah… we lost all 3 nodes. That is what most of my PvP experience is. I constantly watch map to see where and what people are doing. So much pointless stupid people doing things.
BoG, gate opens 4 people zerg LH, 2 guard mine, 4 go WW. Lose team fight at WW, alliance turns around takes LH back and we lose. That one always makes me laugh. No idea why people think going to start base is even a smart idea. Unless you are someone going alone to ninja it, not worth the time.
Decided to give PvP one more chance. First game 5 man premade my side. Guy calls strat… 5 go LH……. 4 go WW… Yeah we lost BAD. Then the premade tried to defend this terrible strat. Like honestly, how do you defend that lol. Again, dumbest people I have meet in this game, PvP.
AV we got behind on the timer because alliance backcapped so alliance would have got all 4 towers down when we would have 3 and still have 1 minute left on the the 4 th. With 25 ppl up north we took on the boss with 1 tower up and with pets helping to tank, took down the Boss and won a game which we were behind all game .
WG … got attacker . Lost the fight at SR but managed to get vehicles done and stopped dead the alliance advance south from SR. At the same time we got BT and started working on the West Wall. We won with 1.04 left on the clock .
Both games what a rush . PvE does not compare at all .
To deal with bad players, surround yourself with competent ones.
I don’t lfr and rarely pug anything because I tried to make friends in this game. This has been one of the most imbalanced patches with corruption in pvp and yet I’ve had more fun this patch than probably any other strictly because of friends.
Try it. I promise it will change everything on how you view the game. I wouldn’t trade anything in this game in exchange for the laughs on discord every evening.

Oh man I’ve seen people in lfr attack immune bosses repeatedly. Avoid goop they should stand in. Move into goop they shouldn’t. You’re comparing different things man, go play some rated and organized PvP.
Honestly sounds like you just can’t handle losing. It’s gonna happen in PvP. As jd said, get some friends, it’s more fun. Or stick to your organized pve. The rest of us are having a good time.
