I agree, except that there isn’t anything bad to say about my logs. I’ve done more than some, less than others. I do mythic raiding, Solo shuffle, and mythic +. I make no claims about what SHOULD or SHOULD not happen, only what I feel would best help the class.
THAT you can review and decide for yourself if it’s true. Take note, however, how often you see the same names pop up in direct opposition to me and try not to buy into the lies, because you really can track them.

There’s bad things to say about anyone’s logs that isn’t parsing 95+, and that’s very much okay. I have a TON of work to do to get better, and I spend time on target dummies, in heroic raids practicing, and in the evoker discord and here reading everything I can and asking questions to community leaders.
I mean, I am of the similar case. I do M+ (NA Top 20 Dev-main), RSS (Usually to 1800-2100 for rewards then I stop), and Raid (Currently working on Mythic Fyrakk) all as Devastation.
Spacial Paradox is a weird thing because it is very deliberate in how you use it and the times it is useful varies, making it available to everyone beyond Aug would probably make it a talent that most people won’t be able to give up enough to achieve it as Aug already gives up a LOT to do the support thing. Weyrnstone, for example, is god-tier on Mythic Tindral if dispels aren’t ahead of the root timing but if every evoker had it? They’d have to give up something else.
Zephyr is god-tier in M+, okay in raid (Better or worse sometimes depending on group comp and fight), and near-useless in PvP. Reason why people are really gung-ho on supporting Zephyr is because right now? Most of the mechanics in M+ that reach one-shot potential are Magic AoEs, with one Physical AoE on Smashspite.

Time Spiral is also very very good and probably the only one that offers a direct DPS increase when you can make use of it for hover. In cases of needing Time Spiral and Zephyr, been giving up other talents that give a lesser DPS impact.
Forger of Mountains is incredibly niche, likely only to have a feasible use in 2 M+ encounters (Morchie+Pig boss) and none of the Raid ones. It can be used in PvP to line people up for Deep Breath (since 1 minute Landslide into 1 minute Deep Breath) but that makes it incredibly predictable.
Terror of the Skies is a similar way, it is good in M+ if your group won’t run into stun DRs too frequently, and is good in PvP as our only hard-CC that can’t be kicked even though it can be dodged, but in Raid it is almost entirely useless.
It’s honestly not shabby (though hardly necessary) for spiteful, as well.
Eh, for Spiteful it is so frequent that it wouldn’t be required since usually we’re just passively cleaving them down and slowing them.
Actually I may have misspoke, there’s a third part where it’d be useful and that’s in DHT with the bears and first boss adds but rooting them on the first boss may be a liability.

Emerald communion without lifebind is actually pretty weak as a raid cd.

You would think in a Dragon Aspect specific expansion they would ensure Evokers are premium. Literally Demon Hunters were thought out in Legion. But now it’s just a kitchen sink cluster.

This is what’s funny to me. It’s very fast and easy to look through logs if you know how to use them. Like, maybe 1-2 minutes of my time.
Trying to demonize checking logs when someone is making definitive statements about what works and doesn’t is just desperate. If you don’t have the ability to even have a basic, boilerplate talent setup that maximizes our survivability and at the same time make claims about what “doesn’t work” or was a “failed experiment”, that’s nothing short of ignorance.
If you can’t play or spec the class at a basic, fundamental level, you’re completely unqualified to say something is broken or doesn’t work.
You’re always validated in not liking something regardless of your experience or knowledge, but claiming it needs fixing or failed is simply incorrect and intentionally misleading.
