I feel like the Healing Elixir talent for BrM should be scrapped

And replaced with a talent that convert Gift of the Ox’s healing sphere’s overhealing into a shield.

The talent should also increase Expel Harm’s healing by 100% to replace the loss of healing from Healing Elixir.

This should help BrM survivability immensely imo.

Healing elixir has possibilities** IF some things/tweaks were done to it.

Currently, as i recall, it has 2 charges on a 30 sec CD that heals for 15% health. All things considered not bad… except last i checked it is ON the GCD. At one time i recall it being off the GCD which made it a great skill to hit for a small bit of healing that did not mess with a rotation or anything. Heck you could even go the simple/lazy route and macro it into other def skills so it was a 1 button def/heal or even macro it into a basic attack skill so you would just heal 15% health every 30 sec without really watching it.

There was a also a time i recall where it would activate on it’s own, unless my memory was foggy, but i swear it was one of those, if you less that 30 something % health it would activate a charge.

Either one of those would be great and help to make the talent more attractive. Personally making it proc on low health sounds like something that would be great for ANY monk spec: something that acts as a helpful healing protection. It could also help WW out as i recall having read on the forums alot survivability was an issues in that they felt a bit squishy in pve questing at times.

So there are options to improve it and keep a unique talent/skill intact but it’s really on blizz to make that change. Again, personally, if they have it the auto-activate on low health option i would gladly take it as a monk.

The shield is very redundant to Celestial Brew which is a nearby talent.

The one thing I would like to see with Healing Elixir for Brewmaster is for it to be retitled as “Healing Brew” and synergizes with abilities that reduce brews’ cooldowns.

I don’t think that having an extra shield is redundant.

It allows you to hold Celestial brew for moments that you really need the extra shielding or act as a filler shield when Celestial brew is on CD. Given that we are going to get slightly more orbs with bok/rsk next patch, the chances of getting orbs when near max hp is quite likely and there will be times that you are going to overheal from orbs.

It also allows you to stabilize if you are low on hp and have more than 3 orbs floating around as you are going to overheal for quite a bit when you crit on expel harm.

Lastly, I think that it removes button bloat as now expel harm is the healing spell you use as BrM.

It is not.

The druid talent that heals for 30% HP is on a longer CD than it takes for 2 charges of Healing Elixir.

Anyways, it just needs to be a brew :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, 35%. it was removed in BfA from the looks of it.
