I am a little late to the party, but I do have some things I want to say about the goblins male update. I miss the old ones. Yes they were lower res and didn’t have as many polygons, but I still loved the old look more. My main issues with the male goblin model update:
- Eye are too uncanny and no longer look monster like.
They look just a bit too humanoid in my opinion. The old goblin eyes looked more monster like. Hard to explain.
- The faces now have perma smiles.
The old goblin faces had some frowns and looked more like a corrupt greedy care salesman face. Which works great for goblins.
- Faces look like they have had too much plastic surgery.
More pretty boyish, sleek, muscular looking. Doesn’t suit goblins well in my opinion.
- Not as gritty.
Male goblins aren’t really played for their sexiness, but for those wanting to play a greedy green dialogical gremlin like creature often. I feel like when the model was updated, a lot of the grit they had was lost.
One positive thing I can say though is that the animations do look smoother and they can now wear some of those boots that have toes showing. I gender changed this goblin as a result of the update.

I do agree that the Male changes are a bit uncanny compared to the old ones. They’re good updates mind, just need to be brought more in line with the old ones.

Yeah, male goblins look like someone stomped out a fire on their face with goth platform boots.
While us female goblins continue being the undisputed sexiest models in game (and in life, let’s be honest here, #1 waifu).

Every time they revamp a model.
They ruin it. 
Remember the way old undead jawless model? It’s way bad now.
I feel that female goblin updates were a straight up improvement in every way. That made them so much more sexy like seen in Gnomest’s gif. Better eyes. Better hair. Better everything really. Too bad they had to take the males down a notch.
I stopped playing all my goblins because they took the one face I loved away. I mean I have ways around it via obscure facial transmogs but it was rather disheartening. To me all the updated faces look identical.

Its really sad to be honest. Not like we can go back to the old model. I hope that male goblins get something that fixes this. However I think that unlikely because there is so many problems with the model that didn’t exist in the old one.
