As title indicates – when Gift of the Ox and Expel Harm are such a trivial amount of healing compared to insta-vivifies, the tuning is super busted. The orb generation and Expel Harm healing did Brewmaster super dirty.
I feel like it's a complete failure to balance Brewmaster when Shadowpan Vivify is 33% of my healing
It also completely sinks Master of Harmony because the self sustain just isn’t there.
Agreed. Pushing that vivify button does not feel good to begin with. I feel like my Brewmaster should start using one of those barrels of brew he keeps in his back pocket as a shield…
Its arguably the best in PvP but they seriously need to buff celestial brew and stagger. I think vivify is like 70% of my healing with everything else being 30%.
looking at your profile your haste is really high and vers scales really bad for brew right now. At 29% crit 24% mastery I don’t have to hit vivify nearly as often.
Yeah the rings I have are providing majority of it. Hoping to get some drops that will change that. Right now monk just feels weak compared to my guardian and prot warrior. But it’s still early so I’m optimistic that will change at higher ilvls.
Knowing Blizzard, they’ll look at these complaints and halve the effectiveness of Vivify while buffing the garbage celestial brew and expel harm by 10%.
Ya’ll better leave WW’s Vivify healing alone. It’s bad enough ret paladins and DK’s and warriors are running around with 1+ million more HP courtesy of their massive stamina and health % amps from the class tree while we’re stuck with a bunch of long cd defensives.
That may be but the top performing brews are still prioritizing crit/vers.
Well, it’s a feedback loop. Crit increases the amount of healing you can get from yourself heals, Versatility increases the amount of healing and reduces the amount of damage… kind of an obvious stat set to push.
Might be a good one, certainly a well-treaded path, but it might also be a false peak. IE a path that goes up but doesn’t actually reach the desired destination.
to be fair your not really pushing higher keys though
where did you see that ‘vers’ doesn’t scale very well for us right now ?
