Can get half the rep you need from the weekly event and 5 heroic dungeons off just those.
And there you just forced people to spend multiple hours doing content that they don’t want to do, or have no other reason for doing.
PvP can get their weekly sparks from PvP’ing - that seems logical.
Now why can’t PvE players get it from playing the actual PvE endgame and instead are forced to do god awful world content?
These pro world quest andy’s are honestly hilarious, because if you flipped this and the only way to get PvE sparks was raiding or m+, they’d be screeeching to the rafters.

The weekly even and heroic dungeons are PvE. It takes like 15 minutes for the weekly event, and you can plow through each heroic in like 5-10 minutes? It really doesn’t take that long. Doing a variety of content is the spice of life my friend.

The sparks I think you’re talking about come from a quest to do world PvP in one zone, so it’s just as ”restrictive” as the PvE equivalent .
LOL if you think spending over an hour steamrolling heroics and some lagfest world event are in any way ‘content’. You and I are never going to see eye to eye on this so I will just leave you to enjoy farming your 10 boars or w/e it is wq andy’s find so thrilling.
You realize I do higher end content than you do right? 
People need to learn to control themselves. I was doing the weekly on about the same number of characters but that was only the result of 7 months of game play. I will start like I did in the beginning playing a few characters in that content and the rest can sit for awhile. There is no hurry.
There is no need to change the game for those types when you have people who only play a couple of characters and it works out to the right amount of content for them.

I think that being forced to spend 1/5 of my game time a week or more doing content I find mind numbingly boring in a game I pay for to have fun is bad, and that’s the feedback I will continue to give.
If you genuinely think doing dull as paint drying chores is in fact, a good use of your time, feel free to continue giving that feedback. I, and MANY other people disagree with you.

I’m going to save my rep tokens that the campaign gave me and use them each week. I’ve got three for 2500 rep and one for 1000 rep. That should instantly complete the quest every week. I’m not in a hurry for that rep, so I’d rather take the easy way out.

The mini events give 25 rep each 27 with dmf buff.
You can see which events are up on your map. Although you have to be close to see them which sort of sucks from a QoL perspective.
But it gives you a way to farm more rep for those that are more determined.
Let’s not forget that some of the chores either don’t work, or are so god awful I think a sadist designed them. Looking at you, random snail events/quests/crap.
There’s no player power tied to the rep, so just don’t grind it if you don’t want to. I’m really not seeing the issue. There’s mainly profession plans, but you can just commission someone else to do those, and cosmetics.

I was just thinking this but for my main.
I dont want to do world quests at all. Dont gate rep for players that dont do world content. Gear caters to world content ppl now. Make rep cater the other way
They can go quick in a small group. But yea they take forever by yourself. The world content is like either do it when people are online or go do something else.
Currently they give me 50 a pop with the 100% rep boost. Got 8 more renown levels for alts to get 75 rep for them. They add up, and give some nice rewards like bricks/mogs. Its nice for alts to try for them anyway for the chance at gear.
Now my alts are also renown 20 (no more renown bonus buff) and finished the campaign with the big renown tokens, this weekly has turned in to an absolute chore to get done on multiple characters.

What’s up with that too? Blizz makes so much Vendor gear that can’t be upgraded or even usable by the time you unlock it…
It’s honestly not much fun for mains either. The amount of rep from WQs makes them not worth it. Thankfully there’s no power upgrades for me even if I was full on renown with them.
…You do like 2 of the dig scenarios and one Researchers Under Fire and you’re done.
