If your having fun with the game itself I wouldn’t worry to much about them. To me, it’s silly, and I don’t understand Blizzard’s motivation. But the game is the game, if you enjoy it, play it. If not, you have other options.

Blizzard makes the game they want to play. If we happen to like, great. If not, they don’t care.

Everything that is, has a reason to be.

The best outcome is not to turn everything into a revenge match of doing whatever someone else opposite does. Many things are different because they are particular to a different set of characteristics and situations.

The best outcome is judge what is or not the best outcome, without involving PREJUDICIAL thoughts over the matter.

A man is clearly able to do what is best for the woman affected by his position of power, regardless of being a man, if he respects them and hears from them.
A woman is clearly able to do what is best for the men affected by her position of power, regardless of being a woman, if she respects them and hears from them.

And any one person can make decisions based on their personal tastes and wants that will make everyone, even their equals in any of their roles and characteristics, worse off and which outcomes are detrimental not only to others, but to themselves.

So no, mindless “equality” is not inherently good or lead to good things.

The devs are forcing their personal lives into the game.

That’s trash design in an RPG.

Nobody asked for it, except the devs.

And the devs aren’t the paying masses that keep the game afloat with revenue.

Just abandon the sinking ship and let their personal frustrations die with it.

Virtue signaling crap is not an argument for anything.

sure seems like theyre killing their own game pretty well. i have no sympathy for bliz, my advice is get your friends together and find a new game.

I understand I’m a God-fearing person I tried to live a good life and treat people the way I would wanna be treated and even I have to laugh a little bit about all the changes are being made but at the same time I had to remember that accompanies image is really something that people remember
McDonald’s got rid of Ronald McDonald and they did it because there was an incident of people dressed up as clowns that were scaring everybody it was I think it was called a killer clown and they did not want to be associated with clowns that’s why you don’t see Ronald McDonald on any commercials anymore
Many companies try to improve their image especially if they’re being looked at under a microscope like blizzard is now so I don’t expect the changes to stop end it is a double standard I do see them change in transmogs I do see changes come and then a lot of people are not going to like and they won’t just be trivial and then you will have to make a decision if you want to stay or not

are you talking to me?

Problem is… they are rolling the same changes on classic versions.

If you’re talking about play your favourite expansion sure I’m up for that. But I can’t keep supporting this direction any longer. I was somewhat waiting for classic wotlk but this changes clearly are something that I can’t follow. And I’ve endured so much of blizzard all these years… this last 2 expansions and this decisions basically can quickly change the view of this game.

It did for me… and it’s not looking good for blizzard at least on my eyes. Bit of a rant but yeah it’s not something that classic wotlk release will fix it for me anymore.

Some spiders spin a web in their front legs and try to get their prey by hunting them.

Some spiders just spin their webs and the prey usually throw themselves at it.

Forums are just like that.

Yeah, but at least the story isn’t touched and the gameplay is the same. I’m under the assumption that things are going to get much worse for the narrative direction.

These little emotes and jokes are something I can work around, but they do ultimately hint at the direction going forward. While I have little hope for the future of WoW, the BC of the past is as great as I remember it.

It’s an option. Not one for everyone, but at least worth a Hail Mary.

If people don’t like WoW, I dunno, maybe they just shouldn’t work on WoW. :woman_shrugging:

I’ll clutch my own pearls, thanks.

I don’t need the devs to do it for me.

I feel the same way. All we can do is tell them we dont like it, but they just keep doing it. Its gone too far. These developers should be working for a childrens game if everything bothers them.

I think you are putting too much faith in current-Blizzard’s marketing competency for WoW. Their “informed” decisions caused them to get dethroned by FF14 in July, losing half their subscribers since SL launch. Then they lost another wave of subscribers after the lawsuit. Now they are losing another wave of subscribers due to ideological pandering.

Nobody was quitting the game because of any of the things that were removed, yet people are quitting now… not because of the things removed, but on the very principle of censorship.

Didn’t you read the one dev’s post about it?

He clearly said his opinion matters more than those paying his wages

Therefore no, you can’t do anything, because you’re less important

Isn’t it known by now that these changes are the decision of the devs and the not the decision of blizzard’s marketing team?

In a sense I guess you could say that the devs have gone rogue.
